Welcome to Part 1 of our JABBIC show for season 37, Survivor David vs. Goliath. JABBIC stands for Judge A Book By Its Cover, and that is exactly what we do in the preseason. We do not get a lot of information to work with, but that doesn't stop us from trying to guess who will be good at the game and who will flop. We have shared our early thoughts on each of the castaways including how well we think they will do in the overall game as well as some details we gathered from the interviews to kick off another season of watching Survivor together.

Now it is your turn. We want to hear what you think about the 20 new castaways that we look forward to entertaining and surprising us for the next 3 months. Let us know how well you think they will or won't do this season. We want to hear about who you had the strongest reaction to. Who's going to be voted out first? Who's your pick for final four and the sole Survivor?

Send in your predictions, keep it to 3 minutes. Get your responses to us by noon PST on Saturday, September 22nd. Try not to think too long about it, just go with your first impression. Check out Paul's Visual Roster to help you collect your thoughts.

JSFL, our Survivor Fantasy League, registration is open! If you would like to join in the fun, click on this link: JSFL Registration and get your picks in before the first episode airs. You'll have to decide who you think will win it all, who will be voted out first, and four castaways that will be safe from the first tribal council. We have reached the end again. Today, we gather one last time to share our final impressions and thoughts on season 36, Survivor Ghost Island. Much like last season, the finale got mixed reviews. It basically boiled down to who you were cheering for: Dom or Wendell. The overall season got mixed reviews too. Overall though, we once again had a great time together and found lots to enjoy and discuss each week. We will be on hiatus until September when we return for the season 37 JABBIC, Judge A Book By Its Cover, episodes.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, KimJ, Ian, Sophie, Taz, Christiana, Parker, Ann-n-John, Mike, JaWaffles, Marla-n-Sarah, Julie, Drew, Kim-n-Cameron, Josh, David, Ronda, Boston Mark, Samantha, Slappy McGee, Ed, BrandonA, Jill, Scott, Jeremiah, Jen, Snowy, and Paul.

This season really needed something to help redeem the mediocre second half. The finale included another first in Survivor history, and one of the best bluffs we have ever seen at a Tribal Council. The pacing was rapid with back to back to back Immunity Challenges and stole a half hour from the Reunion show to finish out the season. But would it be enough?

What did you think of the challenges? Who's gameplay impressed you the most? Were you happy with the end result? What did you think of the shortened Reunion show? What's your take on the season as a whole? Where does it rank against the other 35? What's your first impression of season 37, David vs. Goliath?

Congratulations to our JSFL Winners, Ian and Nans who tied with 132 points!

The JSFL side challenger's scores are: Jeremiah won with 126 points. JKindred: 114, Jonathan: 113, ColdMike: 95, KittyCat: 93, James-n-Shannon: 90, Stacy: 88, BrandonA: 76, Parker: 61, and Randy 52. Jeremiah will pick a song for Randy to write a parody based on this season's events and sing for us.

Just as the super fans predicted last week, the penultimate episode delivered another "lackluster" performance from Laurel and Donathan who only managed to conjure up more "veiled" threats, squandered any remaining "win equity" they had mustered at the merge, and watched the last of their "social capital" circle the drain. All hope is not lost though. We are looking forward to a few more surprises in the finale!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Ann, Mike, Shea, David, Ed, Sohpie, Susan, Drew, Jack, Parker, BrandonA, Christiana, Slappy McGee, Kim-n-Cameron, Josh, Jacqueline, Jeremiah, and Paul.

"Trusting your gut" does not amount to much if you have not laid the foundation with a solid social game. Challenges that result in clear "pecking order" events should be part of every episode after the merge. What did you think of Sebastian's remora speech? Can you see a clear way for Lauren to "split votes and cut throats"? Did Donathan shoot himself in the foot, or is their redemption on the horizon?

Who's going to end up in the fire making challenge at final four? Who impressed you the most this week? Who are you cheering for to win?

Here is the merge tribe as we head into the finale.

Based on the majority of the feedback, this will be the point in the game that we look back on as Laurel and Donathan's big, missed opportunity. We remain hopeful going into the penultimate episode, but at this point it looks like at least two out of the final three are a forgone conclusion. We would love to get a big surprise just before the finale though.

Naviti Strong no more? Could it be? In any case, they took out a challenge beast tonight which might give some new players a chance to win Individual Immunity going forward. What would you do if you were in Laurel's shoes? Which alliance would you choose? What did you think of Domenick's vow to Aunt Patty?

Who's your favorite? Who do you think is playing the best overall game? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

We just knew it was going to happen eventually. That day his fans had dreaded finally arrived. It's time to "pour one out" for one of this season's hands down favorites, a young man that earned respect as a super fan and a smart Survivor player that some of us initially, grossly underestimated. The end result may have felt predictable, but many of us enjoyed this episode's twist and turns. We are also looking forward to the family visit and seeing how that impacts the game.

It would be easy to call the result from this week's episode predictable, but the path we took to get there was anything but that. Who knew they could pack so much uncertainty into two tribal councils? Is it a given that Naviti strong will win this season now? Whose family member are you most looking forward to meeting in the next episode?

Who is the most underestimated player still in the game? When is the right time to move on the core Naviti three? Who's your favorite? Who do you think is playing the best overall game? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the current merge tribe.

Michael caught another lucky break and the fans are thrilled. Response this week made it clear that we are excited that "Naviti Strong" took its first big steps at unraveling as Laurel's plan came to fruition. We are all curious as to what that means for Kellyn given how adamant she was for Michael to go again. On the whole, feedback on the season remains extremely positive. Now bring on the double immunity, double elimination, double Tribal Council episode. We can't wait!

The Ghost Island concept may still be rattling along in an unfulfilling fashion, but the struggle one castaway experienced to take control of their own destiny certainly delivered the excitement this week. What would you have done in Laurel's position? Why do you think Kellyn changed her plan? Is Chelsea in danger now?

The women are certainly the stars of the Immunity challenges this season. Who's your favorite? Who do you think is playing the best overall game? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the current merge tribe.

This might not have been quite as exciting as the merge episode, but they did a good job of keeping us guessing. Lots of fans are cheering for Michael as he secured a super dooper underdog status with this week's episode. Based on your feedback, we can see several favorites emerging now with Wendell, Domenick, Laurel, Michael and Kellyn at the front of the pack. The others seem to be bigger question marks for now. Many of the castaways may be wishing for the individual game, but we are not quite there yet. Those old tribal lines are still firmly in place as we watch them scramble to assemble the votes for Tribal Council. How do you think they felt watching this episode and realizing they were all just outsmarted by one of the youngest people to play the game? What do you think? Was the curse reversed?

What do you think of Angela now? Did she just peak or should we expect more psy ops missions in the future? Who do you think is playing the best? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the current merge tribe.
Lavita:Angela, Chelsea, Desiree, Domenick, Donathan, Jenna, Kellyn, Laurel, Michael, Sebastian and Wendell

We all thought last week's episode was the best so far, but this merge episode clearly topped the "all time greatest" list for many fans. The staggering extent of Chris' willingness to ignore all the signs of his doom made for comic gold. You might think that squashing the feud would make it easier to see who the front runners might be, but that is surely not the case at this point. We are excited to see who will emerge from this bunch.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. We finally got the payoff for the battle that started on day one, in the early minutes of the game. It was exciting to see it culminate in such a high powered episode that truly made the merge special. We've made it to the halfway point. Who do you think stands the best chance to win it all?

Would you trade your vote to power up an idol? How important do you think the original tribal alliances are now? Who do you think is playing the best? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Based on this week's feedback, this episode was clearly the highlight of the season so far! With lots of action on the HII front, something significant finally happened at Ghost Island, and most importantly a very satisfying blindside of one of the more arrogant castaways there was lots to celebrated and discuss. Now, the game is shifting to the merge, and we can't wait to see how that plays out!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Myra, Shea, Sophie-n-Leila, Beth, Rashmi, Chris, Mike, Marlan-n-Sarah, Drew, Judy, Kenny, Parker, Josh, Jill, Jody, Jack, Jen, and Jeremiah.

Wow, that was a jam packed episode! After what seemed like an extended lull in the gameplay, we got two new HIIs and a new advantage in play now. To top it off, a "comeuppance counter" that started ticking three weeks ago finally expired and one of the entitled, OG Naviti finally got blindsided! Let's kick this thing into overdrive now. Bring on the merge!

If you were in Dominick or Chelsea's shoes, who would you have chosen to vote out? How do you think the original Naviti will react? Who do you think is playing the best? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after week 6.
New New Malolo:Angela, Desiree, Kellyn, and Michael
New New Naviti:Chelsea, Dominick, Donathan, and Libby
Yanuya: Chris, Jenna, Laurel, Sebastian, and Wendell

The blindside hit several fans right in the feels this week. We are now far enough along that several favorites and villians have emerged. There is also still a significant middle ground where quite a few castaways are lingering though. We hope that the split into three tribes will yield some new insight into their games as we move forward to the merge. Until then, we are excited to see what comes next!

Michael may be on to something. The curse of Malolo beach may be real. Do you think he has realized that he is the other common element in this unfortunate theme? The editors pulled a fast one on us again, presumably to keep it entertaining. What do you think about the episodes that end and you realize that they chose to withhold a critical detail so the outcome wasn't obvious prior to Tribal Council. We can't be far from the merge now. Bring on the next episode!

Who would you target when faced with a choice of someone in your alliance that leaves you unsure if you can trust them versus someone in the minority alliance that represents physical strength for the tribe in challenges? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is still in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who impressed you the most this week? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after week 5.

The consensus from the fans is in on the "Ghost Island/Reverse the Curse" concept, and it's not good. To date, it has completely underwhelmed and under delivered. At this point, most of us would be happy to see it fade away. We will refer to it as "Rice Island" until something significant changes. Many were sad about the latest vote-out, but we remain hopeful that the coming shuffle will reinvigorate the game!

"The Pagonging's will continue until the New Malolo tribe's performance improves!", (or another tribe shuffle happens). There was no need for a blindside this week. It came down to a simple risk assessment for the remaining three original Malolos. There is still time for it to deliver some excitement, but at this point, the Ghost Island concept is a bust. We look forward to the shuffle and the potential for surprises and excitement that it brings next week.

Who would you have targeted for the vote out this week? How do you think another tribal shuffle will affect the game at this point? Another week, and we got another Survivor classic blindside! This week, Michael made our list of castaways we had previously under estimated. His plan for the HII was truly inspired. Turns out Chelsea's not purple after all. We finally got to see a little of her game this episode, and it looks like she might be a player. We're excited to see what happens next!

Did your assessment of any of the castaways change this week? What did you think of Michael's plan? How would you have used it? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is still in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who impressed you the most? Who would you have kept? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after week 3.

New Naviti:Angela, Chris, Dominick, Donathan, James, Laurel, Libby, and Wendell

Based on the feedback, the early game shuffle caused a lot of unintended confusion for the fans this week. The other recurring theme in the feedback is that Ghost Island appears to have started with a bit of whimper. Given that the castaways are required to break the "urns" in a specific order, we are puzzled why production chose to start with an advantage you have to give away and two instances of nothing to do. Perhaps they were worried about introducing too many advantages/idols at once, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to start so weakly either. The blindside really helped redeem the overall assessment of the episode, and we're ready for the next one.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Sophie, Mike, Susan, MikeK, Victoria, Parker, BrandonA, Michael, Drew, Kenny, Jack, TAZ, Titus, Aaron, JayWaffles, Jen, JoeyMama Eve, Jeremiah and Paul.

Woohoo! Survivor is kicking off the second week of season 36 with a tribal shuffle and another blindside! Add Libby to the list of castaways we initially underestimated. Beware cute blonds indeed! What did you think of the re-shuffled tribes? Would you count that blindside as another victim of the Legacy Advantage curse?

Did your assessment of any of the castaways change this week? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is still in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who impressed you the most? Who would you have kept? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after week 2.
New Malolo:Brendan, Bradley, Chelsea, Desiree, Jenna, Kellyn, Michael, Sebastian, and Stephanie
New Naviti:Angela, Chris, Dominick, Donathan, James, Laurel, Libby, and Wendell

Who impressed you the most? Who would you have kept? What would you have done if you were first to Ghost Island and had the Legacy Advantage? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 1.

It's time again to share our final impressions and thoughts on season 35, Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. The finale got mixed reviews. From one perspective, Ben, a fan favorite and hard worker was rewarded. The other camp feels that Chrissy was robbed by a fickle twist. The overall season got a positive review. All in all though, we once again had fun together and found lots to enjoy and discuss each week. We will be on hiatus until late February when we return for the season 36 JABBIC episodes.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Johnny, Shea, Eliza, KittyCat, Rashmi, Mike, Sandi, Sophie, JK, Judy, Myra, Marla-n-Sarah, Drew, Ed, Kenny, Chris, Josh, Parker, Ronda, Jack, John, Jody, James, Jeremiah, Jen, Shannon, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Ben Driebergen, winner of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers! Ben found his footing early and started the game strong. The shuffle put him in jeopardy, but he quickly recovered, and gained the upper hand again after the merge. When his core alliance ambushed him, he was able to scramble, improvise, and adapt, saving himself over and over and over. He will be remembered in Survivor history for his amazing HII play.

Listen to this interview to hear the amazing story behind the help the winner received from coworkers to be able to play, their confidence level before the final vote was read, their proudest moves in the game and lots more!

This week we interviewed Chrissy Hofbeck. She made it to the finale and ended up in second place in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Chrissy struggled at the beginning but thanks to Ryan, she got her footing back and started working to improve her position. She will be remembered for her outstanding Immunity Challenge performances and tying the all time female record.

This week we interviewed Ryan Ulrich. He made it to the finale and ended up in third place in Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Ryan had a strong start, becoming an early front runner to win. He faded into the background after the merge and appeared to take a backseat to the other players that pushed the limits of the game. Fortunately for him, he possessed an excellent social game that kept him in the hunt and his ineffectiveness at challenges made him an easy choice for final three.

Listen to this interview to hear about the injury that plagued them through most of the game, how watching the show each week as the game played out affected them during the season, who they would have voted for if there had been a tie at final three and lots more!

We have now been blessed with seventeen years and thirty five seasons of this wonderful show, and this one was a delight from start to finish. This season contained awesome lessons on the power of secrets, hard work, and perseverance. We delighted in all the triumphs and tribulations and were happy that it kept us guessing all the way to the end when the final votes were read.

What did you think of the final challenges? What did you think about the new Secret Advantage twist at the final four Tribal Council? Did the new format for final tribal questions work this time? How did the final three do with answering the jury's questions? Who in the jury impressed you and who disappointed you the most? How would you rate this reunion show? Where does this season rank for you? What are your thoughts on season 35? Are you excited for another all new cast in Ghost Island? How do you think the past idols will be used?

We have another tie! Congratulations to the JSFL Winners, Energy5 and RobD with 129 points.

The JSFL side challenger's scores are: Drew won with 121. Nina: 116, Rick: 95, Parker: 84, IronDave: 80, KittyCat: 76, Stacy: 75, Jody: 70, BrandonA: 64, Jeremiah: 63, ColdMike: 56, Jonathan: 53, and James and Shannon are this season's losers with 47. Drew will pick a song for James and Shannon to write a parody for based on this season's events and sing for us.

This week we interviewed Ashley Nolan. She left the game in week 12 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Ashley admitted that she only really started playing the game on day twenty eight. She was fortunate to form strong alliances that helped her go deep, but once her primary bond was broken, she made a quick exit.

Listen to this interview to hear about the painful injury she struggled with through most of the game, who she thinks is nicer than we get to see, what Mike whispered to her at Tribal Council and lots more!

When is the right time to select your final three? We can probably all agree that day one is probably too soon given the odds against you making it to the end together at that point. What about day thirty four, while on one of the best rewards in the game with food and an overnight rest with only two other fellow castaways? Yep, that sounds about right. Do you think that alliance can withstand another Ben Bomb?

What are your most and least desired final three combinations? What odds do you give each remaining player to make it to the end? Is there a clear goat to take to the end this season? Who do you think will win it all?

Here is the merged tribe after week 12.
Solewa: Ben, Chrissy, Devon, Mike, and Ryan

This week we interviewed Lauren Rimmer. She left the game in week 11 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Lauren surprised and entertained us. We initially thought she would be the first one voted out from her tribe, and surely she would not make the merge. She scrambled, built strong alliances and proved herself a worthy competitor in the challenges. Alas, she will be remembered for her end game blunders that likely landed her a spot in the Survivor history books.

Listen to this interview to hear her assessment of the remaining players, how she felt about Dr. Mike's actions at Tribal Council, where her Secret Advantage really was and lots more!

The Family Visit episodes are always emotional, but we think this one was overshadowed by all the exciting post Immunity Challenge scrambling and on the fly strategic realignments. Add in all the twists and turns at the "live" Tribal Council, and this episode is one for the history books! Where do you rate Lauren's gameplay? Did this rank as the dumbest move in Survivor history?

What did you think of this season's Family Visit and the reward challenge? Ben is clearly playing a magnificient game, but how do you see him moving forward from here? Who do you think is playing the best game? Who makes the best goat now? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after week 11.

The burning question this week was why JP, and why not Ryan or Chrissy? Most of the fans agreed that appeared to be a wasted blindside. Everyone seemed satisfied, some even thrilled, that Joe got the boot in such a spectacular fashion. Ben and Lauren are currently the most popular front runners for the win, but we are all excited to see what happens next!

This week we interviewed Joe Mena. He left the game in week 10 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Joe started the game hot, finding HII clues, throwing shade on Dr. Mike, executing a really nice blindside on the majority alliance after the shuffle, and even finding a second HII. But his game lost most of its steam after he "deuced" that second idol. He will be remembered for his super aggressive game style and for being a pawn in one of the best con games we have ever seen in the history of the game.

Listen to this interview to hear why he really targeted Dr. Mike in the beginning, an explanation of his strategy, how he will decide who to vote for to win and lots more!

Woohoo! That was a double episode extravaganza! There was no option for a boring Pagonging with this group of castaways. We really didn't see that coming. It is great to see such a high level of gameplay from a group of new players. This is one of the most sophisticated con games we have ever seen on the show. Bravo, Bravo, Encore! Get ready for a real emotional roller coaster because week 11 includes the Family Visit! Stock up on the Kleenex.

Will the new alliance of four hold tight, or will the inner three pivot again? We're coming close to the final opportunity for Lauren to use her advantage. Do you think she will use it effectively? Who do you think is playing the best game? Who makes the best goat now? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after week 10.

This week we interviewed Cole Medders. He left the game in week 9 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Cole will be remembered for his role as a physical threat, but more significantly for his pursuit of a showmance and for committing a cardinal Survivor sin of stealing food when everyone was struggling with hunger. These traits caused Ben to focus his energy on voting him out, and he jumped on the first opportunity when Cole could not protect himself with individual immunity.

Listen to this interview to hear how he was chosen to be on the show, what he saw on TV that he deeply regrets, what else happened at Tribal Council that we didn't get to see and lots more!

We were all at least a little confused by Dr. Mike's actions at Tribal Council, and most agreed that there was cause for labelling Ben a dictator. Lauren is quickly winning over more fans. All in all, this was another enjoyable episode, and we are all still struggling to see who the front runners are. We are looking forward to all the surprises the next episode will bring.

We will be the first to admit that we had trouble following Dr Mike's plan this week. We got the part about throwing alliance members under the bus, but the rest of it got more and more sketchy. Then when we saw how he voted, we could not help but think that some critical elements were missing in the version we got to see. In any case, we very much enjoyed the overall episode and look forward to more excitement in week 10. Do you think seven from King Arthur's round table can hold together long enough to complete the Pagonging?

Who do you think is on the bottom of the majority alliance? What's the best way to bust them up? Do you think Lauren's double vote will be used effectively? Who do you think is playing the best game? Would you be able to keep someone as aggravating as Joe in the game till the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 9.

We're just past the half way mark, and the surprises are still coming. Most of us were confused by the Tribal Council results. Passing on the obvious expert aggravater for someone we barely got to see this season left a lot of us scratching our heads. Quite a few folks are wondering where Chrissy's math skills went when the voting totals came up short. The editors are doing a good job of keeping us guessing with quite a few castaways being considered as possible winners. We are happy to get another new episode on Wednesday and can not wait to see what happens next!

This week we interviewed Desiree "Desi" Williams. She left the game in week 8 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Desi stood out from the start, and we were expecting great things from her. She excelled in several challenges, but unfortunately her overall gameplay did not garner enough attention to be featured in the episodes, and we were left wanting more and blindsided like her when she was targeted before her more abrasive ally.

Listen to this interview to hear how she felt about her edit, who constantly made her laugh, how she will make her decision on her final vote and lots more!

Yes, we were looking forward to the start of the jury and corresponding Ponderosa videos, but we are really bumfuzzled by the vote out tonight. Outside of the general desire to Pagong the Healers, how does this make sense given the other choice they had? Despite the confusion, we did enjoy the episode and look forward to the surprises episode nine will bring.

Will the majority alliance hold together long enough to finish off the Healers? What's the best way to bust up the Heroes and the Hustlers? Who will be the first to use their HII? How would you use the Secret Advantage that Lauren received? Who do you think is playing the best now? Who do you think will be next to go?

The fans have spoken. That was a great merge episode. We really enjoyed it from the embedded restaurant commercial that was the merge feast to the back and forth strategic permutations that some of the castaways were considering as they headed into Tribal Council. And they have us super excited to see if Chrissy is on the verge of one of the best fake idol setups we have ever seen in the game. We can't wait for episode eight!

This week we interviewed Jessica Johnston. She left the game in week 7 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Jessica will likely be most remembered for her choice to pursue a showmance this season. Her focus on her clueless crush lead to a devastating blindside and in a double whammy also cost her a spot on the jury

Now that was an exciting merge episode! It captured the individual scrambling and uncertainty of new alliances while providing deeper insights into the social games of several of the castaways. It also surprised us a little by delaying the start of the jury. We were looking forward to a Ponderosa video. What did you think of the new Immunity Challenge?

How long do you think the new, majority alliance will last? How will Chrissy leverage the defunct Super Idol? Who do you think is playing the best? Who do you think will be next to go?

With the loss of a fan favorite, this episode was bitter sweet for many but also served to add new layers of complexity as we prepare to transition to the second half of the game. The big questions center around how the new alliances will form and what role the real and fake idols might play. Based on the feedback this week, we have some clear front runners, some with little chance to win and a muddy middle that could go either way. We are super excited to see what happens when they merge next week!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Mike, Jen, Tina, Pepsi-n-Christine, Parker, Shannon, Drew, Kenny, BraondonB, Jill, Josh, Jody, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Ali Elliot. She left the game in week 6 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Ali was a fan favorite from the beginning of the game. Her job as a personal assistant, which required her to tackle new challenges everyday and always be ready to work on whatever, seemed like perfect training for the game. She built good initial alliances, but the shuffle provided her key ally another option that he liked better. After back-to-back immunity losses he was eager to drop her, sadly, just before the merge.

Listen to this interview to hear an assessment of her tribemates, what she saw on TV that surprised her the most, who she was targeting with her parting comments and lots more!

We may have detected a pattern in the edit for this season: a visit to Tribal Council almost always results in a blindside vote out. We have really enjoyed the first half of this season. We are now headed to the merge with three original Hustlers, four Heroes, and five Healers. Who do you think this group of castaways is going to view as the big threats after the merge?

What do you think we will see in terms of alliances as we transition to the second half of the game. Who do you think is playing the best? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
Levu/Blue: Ashley, Desi, Devon, and Joe
Soko/Yellow: Chrissy, JP, and Ryan
Yawa/Red: Ben, Cole, Jessica, Lauren, and Mike

This week really ramped up the story arcs of several key castaways. Dr. Mike found a new lease on the game. Jessica finally realized she has other options beyond selfish Cole the secret sharer. The bond between Chrissy and Ryan is more significant than we initially realized, the Blue tribe rebounded and poor Ali is on the ropes now. We are both anxious and excited to see what happens next!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Tina, Jill, Sarah, Judy, Mike, Parker, KittyCat, Drew, Jody, Kenny, Jack, BrandonA, Josh, Jen, Barry, Jeremiah, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Roark Luskin. She left the game in week 5 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Roark had the benefit of being on the original Healers tribe which turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. They were very successful but that also marked her as a big target when she was shuffled into another tribe as the lone Healer. A plan was hatched to save her, but in the end she was betrayed and blindsided.

Listen to this interview to hear an assessment of her tribemates, details on the injury she sustained just before she left, what she saw on TV that surprised her the most and lots more!

The blindsides for season 35 just keep rolling in. We did not get all the twists and turns from the last episode, but this was a strong one. We got a couple of really good challenges that highlighted weaknesses on the Soko/Yellow tribe, and the original Healers tribe is in jeopardy of losing their numbers advantage at the merge. Which alliance do you think is more valuable to Ryan: Ali or Chrissy?

When do you think they will merge? Do you think Cole will go out on a medical evacuation? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is still in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
Levu/Blue: Ashley, Desi, Devon, and Joe
Soko/Yellow: Ali, Chrissy, JP, and Ryan
Yawa/Red: Ben, Cole, Jessica, Lauren, and Mike

Episode four really did the trick. The shuffle brought so many surprises and twists that many of the fans that were still on the fence have gone all in on season 35. We really enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the advantages, new alliances, strategic gameplay, blunders as well as all your hopes and fears for your least and most favorite castaways from this season. This week we interviewed Alan Ball. He left the game in week 4 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Alan kicked off his early game with a goal to be disruptive and shine a light on the threat of an early couple's alliance in his tribe. It was a risky tactic that appeared to pay off, but the luck of the tribe shuffle brought an even greater disruptive element to his tribe that quickly sent Alan packing.

Listen to this interview to hear how he compared his strategy to Joe's, his assessment of his tribemates, how the experience changed him and lots more!

Now that was interesting. We had no idea that episode four would contain so many twists. It was packed with surprises all the way to the end. We were so caught up in the whole thing that we forgot to listen for the Easter eggs in the Immunity Challenge. What did you think of the results of the shuffle? Does any tribe strike you as having a distinct advantage?

What did you think of Jessica's response to Cole's lies? What do you think about the Special Advantage twist and how the HII was played? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 4.

Episode three gave us a great example of Survivor's flavor of natural selection. The third week carved off another castaway that did not make the cut in a tribe of savvy players that are calling the shots. In week four, the game hits the reset button and shuffles the tribes. It decreases the focus on the theme, but hopefully adds some additional zest to a season that is already showing strong potential. Wednesday can't get here quick enough!

This week we interviewed Patrick Bolton. He left the game in week 3 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Patrick chose to play bold and loud which can work well to get some air time as a big character, but also wears thin quickly when everyone is constantly around each other while growing more and more hangry as the days wear on. He underestimated how much his quest to be an exciting, unpredictable individual would be viewed as a problem by his tribemates and became the second blindside for the Hustlers.

Listen to this interview to hear why he had such an intense fear of crabs, his assessment of his tribemates, his perspective on that last challenge and lots more!

We got another good episode to see how the social game is shaping up. We have a better idea of how everyone is doing in the pecking order except for Desi and Roark. This is the third week they have both been mostly invisible. Are you cheering for either of the showmances to take off? Is it likely we will see another castaway end up with two HIIs after the shuffle?

Who would you have kept between the two socially challenged castaways at that tribal? Who are you hoping makes it safely through the upcoming shuffle? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is in jeopardy of being voted out after the shuffle? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 3.

Episode two will not be remembered as "one of the greatest of all time", but it did do a good job of giving us some additional insights to the social game in progress at each tribe, and for that we are thankful. While a few folks were disappointed with the overall results, most were happy with the outcomes and remain excited and looking forward to Wednesday night when we get another installment from season 35 of Survivor!

This week we interviewed Simone Nguyen. She left the game in week 2 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Being on Survivor can be an overwhelming experience for anyone, especially if you do not have any outdoor experience. Simone tried her best, but in the end could not find enough common ground with her tribemates to justify keeping her beyond their first visit to Tribal Council.

We're only two weeks in, but we can already start to see some stories begin to take shape. Chrissy is actively working the redemption arc. Joe is our primary villain, working to exploit the tender hearted healers. Mike is our first underdog. Ben, Ryan and Ali are shaping up to be our narrators. What do you think? Were you happy with how this episode played out? Do you think they made the best choice at Tribal Council?

Who would you want in your tribe: Lauren or Patrick? Is Joe the most powerful person in the game right now? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who impressed you the most? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 2.
Levu/Heroes: Alan, Ashley, Ben, Chrissy, and JP
Soko/Healers: Cole, Desi, Jessica, Joe, Mike, and Roark
Yawa/Hustlers: Ali, Devon, Lauren, Patrick, and Ryan

It's time to get the super fans perspective on the first episode Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Fiji is hands down one of the best locations Survivor has ever been to, and it's easy to see why Probst has declared that they will probably stay there indefinitely now. We're stoked to have Survivor back and the only complaint was that the episode was too short. We want all the season premieres to be two hours long. We can't wait for Wednesday night when we get the next installment from season 35!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Pete, Samantha, Parker, Mikeybear, KathyS, Rashmi, JK, BrandonA, Chris, Josh, Drew-Charlie-Adelaide, Kenny, Sarah, Rodney, Ronda, BrandonB, Jody, Jen, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Katrina Gerry-Radke. She left the game in week 1 of Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Katrina came in with impressive credentials, but she was unable to translate those into a solid connection with her tribemates. They may end up regretting that choice after they tackle the upcoming water challenges.

Listen to this interview to hear her assessment of her tribemates, who tried to sabotage her game, which tribemate chose that specific puzzle maze for the immunity challenge and lots more!

Survivor season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, got off to a great start! We got some initial insights to the tribe dynamics. Joe and Alan came out guns blazing. Ryan made a new friend, and we were shocked by how the first twist of the season played out. Were you surprised by the results of the first tribal council? Do you think they made the best choice?

How did your assessment of the castaways change once you saw them in action? Who do you think is playing the best, and who is in jeopardy of being voted out before the merge? Who impressed you the most? Who would you have kept? What would you have done if you had the Super Idol? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 1.
Levu/Heroes: Alan, Ashley, Ben, Chrissy, and JP
Soko/Healers: Cole, Desi, Jessica, Joe, Mike, and Roark
Yawa/Hustlers: Ali, Devon, Lauren, Patrick, Ryan, and Simone

It's time again to wrap up our impressions and thoughts on season 34, Survivor Game Changers. The finale and the season as a whole is getting mixed reviews. Most were happy with the winner and viewed her as deserving, but almost everyone wished it had been Cirie. All in all though, we had fun together and found lots to enjoy and discuss each week. We will be on hiatus till the fall when we return for the season 35 JABBIC episodes.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great LF show. This week we heard from: Pete, Ian, Shea, IronDave, Crystal, Mikeybear, Victoria, Shelley, Jody, Rashmi, Parker, Jack, Ronda, Sophie, Marla-n-Sarah, Ed, Drew-Charlie-n-Adelaide, BrandonB, Kenny, Shannon, BrandonA, Josh, Nicola, Nina, Samantha, Jill, James, Jeremiah, Kim, Jen, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Sarah Lacina, winner of Survivor Game Changers! Sarah set out to model her game after a true Game Changer and executed her strategy masterfully. She made good on her promise to be the first to use an advantage correctly and leveraged her experience as an undercover cop to do whatever was required to make it to the end while also filling out the jury with people who would understand and reward her cut throat gameplay.

Listen to this interview to hear her thoughts on the new Final Tribal Council format, how the family visit likely kept her from making a critical blunder, details on unaired, fun moments she experienced and much more.

This week we interviewed Troy "Troyzan" Robertson and Brad Culpepper. Troyzan finished in third place and Brad in second place of Survivor Game Changers. Both Troyzan and Brad enjoyed early success in the game although they took different paths, one under the radar and the other out front. Once united, they established a majority alliance that focused on taking out the biggest remaining threats. They both managed to hang on after Sarah shattered their controlling alliance, regaining control thanks to Brad's immunity challenge streak and Troyzan's idol, mistakenly thinking they stood the best chance of defeating her in the finale.

Listen to this interview to hear how they felt the new Final Tribal Council format affected them, what impact the family visit had on their game, what serious injury occurred on day 27 that required post game surgery and much more.

This week we interviewed Aubry Bracco and Tai Trang. Aubry finished in fifth place and Tai in fourth place of Survivor Game Changers. Their games this time were almost the opposite of each other. Aubry could not catch a break, constantly fighting for a foothold from the bottom. Tai established solid alliances early, once again excelled at finding Hidden Immunity Idols, and even took down the venerable Ozzy in a challenge. Aubry somehow managed to hold on, and Tai's game faltered a bit near the end, and they surprisingly went out side by side again at the finale.

Listen to this interview to hear how they felt about the Cirie debacle, their assessment of the new Final Tribal Council format, some of their funny and exciting moments that were not aired and much more.

This week we interviewed Cirie Fields. She finished in sixth place of Survivor Game Changers. Cirie is a legend in the game. She had a bumpy start this season. Her skills were so feared, many thought she would be one of the first to go, and she came close, but luck was on her side at the beginning. She recovered and proceeded to excel once again in the social aspects of the game, mentoring and maneuvering deftly through the castaways and alliances, but her luck ran out on day 36 when she was blindsided by a flurry of immunities that knocked her out of the game in yet another historic, Survivor first.

Listen to this interview to hear how she felt about her historic exit, her assessment of the new Final Tribal Council format, what Brad could have done to improve his chances at the end and much more.

Malcolm said it best in the reunion show. There is a reason we are seventeen years into it, and this is still the best show on TV. This was season 34 and we just saw three more historical firsts in the game at the finale. The pacing was fast but we enjoyed it all, although we would prefer a final five. That immunity run at the end had us anxious but we were happy in the end for the winner. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.

What did you think of the final challenges? What did you think about that history making final six tribal council? What did you think about the new format for final tribal questions? How did the final three do with answering the jury's questions? Who in the jury impressed you and who disappointed you the most? How would you rate this reunion show? Where does this season rank for you? What are your thoughts on season 34? Are you ready for an all new cast in Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers?

Congratulations to the JSFL Winner, Nume with 142 points.

We ended the season with 339 still playing JSFL. Congratulations to everyone for hanging in there, regardless of score for the full season experience!
The JSFL side challenger's scores are: Nina won with 132. IronDave: 122, Stacy: 111, Seth: 105, Jeremiah: 104, Hubaloo: 93, Jonathan: 90, James-n-Shannon: 87, BrandonA: 78, ColdMike: 72, Drew: 67, and Jody and Parker with 49. Nina will pick a song for Jody and Parker to write a parody based on this season's events and sing for us.

Confusion was a central theme in the feedback this week. That last tribal council had lots of us scratching our heads and wondering what just happened. Squeezing a double elimination where they are both blindsides into one episode tends to leave more questions than answers. Fortunately, we think we have some insights into what just happened and quite a few super fans share their predictions for what we can expect in the finale!

This week we interviewed Michaela Bradshaw. She was the second castaway to leave the game in week 11 of Survivor Game Changers. Imagine being hired for a job because of one key skill you possessed and then showing up for work and finding out that your peers refuse to allow you to work on projects relevant to your skill. That is what Michaela's second season became. She managed to find other ways to make an impact but spent a large portion of the game confused and frustrated. Sandra and Cirie helped her get her mind right, but not even the mighty Cirie could save her from a spur of the moment, late game blindside.

Listen to this interview to hear behind the scenes details on her extremely rocky start to the season, how Brad came to accuse her of blackmail, the scoop on the whisperfest that erupted at her last Tribal Council, who she would like to see win and much more.

This week we interviewed Andrea Boehlke. She was the first castaway to leave the game in week 11 of Survivor Game Changers. Andrea is one of a handful that appeared to improve their gameplay this season, but her competitiveness in the challenges and lack of finesse when selecting vote out targets brought the spotlight back on her as she emerged as one of the bigger threats to win.

Jury management is key at this stage in the game. You want as many as possible to be cheering for you and to give the most bitter some time to recover before the final tribal council. If you are lucky enough to still be in the game and have not been subtly making points to the jury, you probably do not deserve to win. We know there are a couple of castaways left that have made an impression. Which final three would make it the hardest to choose a winner?

Who would you most like to see win? Who in your opinion is least deserving? How do you think the Hidden Immunity Idols will come into play as we head to final 5? Will Tai give up his actual idols or are the ones he shows Brad and Troy fake? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position to make it to the end? What's your final six order?

Here are the remaining six as we head into the finale.
Maku Maku:Aubry, Brad, Cirie, Sarah, Tai, and Troyzan

This week we interviewed Sierra Dawn Thomas. She left the game in week 10 of Survivor Game Changers. We certainly got a different version of Sierra this time. The "go with the flow" version from her first season was gone, and she was so assertive and in control that Cirie dubbed her the "Godfather" of her alliance. Unfortunately, she was unable to keep everyone in her "island family" happy. Sarah turned on her not once but twice, and ended up being her undoing in a sneaky plan to gain another Advantage in the game.

Listen to this interview to hear details on the illness that put her in the hospital, who she thought turned on her, what is still haunting her, who she would like to see win and much more.

Making it to the family visit is always a big milestone in each season of Survivor when it occurs. The chance to reconnect with someone you can actually trust after being surrounded by people that are out to deceive you can recharge your determination and sometimes offer fresh, new insights you had not considered. It is always fun to see how the family members and the castaways react too. Which reunion did you respond the most to this time?

Who do you think will be in the next controlling alliance that emerges? What could Michaela be using to blackmail Brad? Can Brad survive now that he has only Troyzan left with him? Who will play their HII first: Tai or Troyzan? What's Sarah's best play with the two advantages now? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position to make it to the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new merged tribe after week 10.
Maku Maku:Andrea, Aubry, Brad, Cirie, Michaela, Sarah, Tai, and Troyzan

Cirie said it best, "It only takes a second, one wrong move and you're on the jury". You don't even notice it happening. You think you are enjoying a meal and innocently reminiscing about past football games with a fellow fan. Meanwhile, your enemies see it as all the reason they need to make a risky move and blindside you before you get the chance to do it to them first. Where do you stand? Would you wait until the numbers were more in your favor or strike now and worry about the consequences later?

Who do you think will form the next majority alliance? Do you think Andrea alienated Michaela with her comments at Tribal Council? How do you think the family visit will affect the castaways? Which top three would you most enjoy winning? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position to make it to the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after week 9.

Based on feedback this week, watching Cirie overcome those obstacles deeply touched a lot of fans, but some felt it was all a bit heavy handed or forced at the same time. While many will surely miss Debbie's entertainment value, most were singing, dancing or fist pumping in delight at the surprise she received at Tribal Council. We're all excited to see what week 9 will bring our way. Hurry up Wednesday!

This week we interviewed Debbie Wanner. She left the game in week 8 of Survivor Game Changers. While she eased up on the litany of past occupations this time, she still managed to bring the fireworks. She will be remembered this season for orchestrating the takedown of Ozzy, and for once again being blindsided after under estimating a member of her alliance.

Listen to this interview to hear why she sought out Brad for an early alliance, how she sees her big blow up at him after watching it on TV, who she would like to see win and much more.

If you are ever lucky enough to play Survivor but find yourself so confident about your control over the game that you use the word "inconceivable" in a sentence regarding your alliance's ability to control the outcomes, warning bells should immediately start going off in your head. You just committed the classic Survivor sin of overconfidence and have become a prime target for a blindside vote at the next Tribal Council. It's really that simple.

How long do you think the new alliance of six will hold together? How long do you give Brad and Sierra? Who will play their HII first: Tai or Troyzan? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position to make it to the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new merged tribe after week 8.

There is always lots to cover in a double episode week, and this was no exception. The themes that arose for the feedback this week include: "Yeah, Cirie is featured", "I sure hope Cirie being featured does not mean that she is next to go", "wait, you mean Brad and Tai really get nothing for their sacrifice?", "Zeke's in trouble", "Sarah and Debbie both appear to be playing well", "That talk between Cirie and Michaela was awesome!". We are already stoked for the next installment. Good luck to those picking a new USB!

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great LF show. This week we heard from: Pete, Rob, Jill, Mikeybear, Samantha, Sarah, Parker, Victoria, Nicola, Harold, James, Drew, Kenny, Jack, Joel, Josh, Jodi, Ronda, Beth, Jen, Shannon and Paul.

This week we interviewed Ozzy. He was the second castaway to leave the game in week 7 of Survivor Game Changers. Ozzy established himself as a legendary player in his first season. No one has ever matched his ability to provide for his tribes or help them excel at the physical components of the challenges. Unfortunately, that has also made him a huge target each time he played. We were happy and surprised he made it this far in what has proven to be a really tough season and will miss watching him work his magic each week.

Listen to this interview to hear his challenge advice for future players, his biggest regret this time, who he would like to see win and much more.

This week we interviewed Hali Ford. She was the first castaway to leave the game in week 7 of Survivor Game Changers. Hali started the game in an underdog position and never seemed to be able to overcome it. She had some memorable moments at Tribal Council, took some big risks, and even made a little Survivor history. But in the end, her departure appeared to be a classic "Pagonging" vote with a little extra nudge from Cirie.

Listen to this interview to hear what she did to get a chance to play again, more details on the Debbie meltdown, how she will determine who gets her vote for the million and much more.

Woohoo! We have reached the merge. This is the point where the game kicks into overdrive and you will get dropped in the wake if you can not keep up and did not work hard to land in a controlling alliance. It looked like we were in for a good old fashioned "Pagonging" of Mana, but it was too tempting to add the blindsiding of a legend for one alliance to resist. Thank you CBS for two hours of Survivor this week! Let's make this the default.

How long do you think Cirie can survive as the only legend left in the game? How much will losing their primary provider impact them with 15 days left to play? How can Zeke save himself? How do you think Debbie and Michaela are playing? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position to make it to the end? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new merged tribe after week 7.

Survivor is designed to give us a view into the human condition "in a pressure cooker". As with real life, people are sometimes motivated to do extremely hurtful things to each other. Unfortunately, we were witness to another one of these events in the last episode. In this week's feedback, we talk it out and the super fans offer the benefit of a multitude of perspectives. Just as in life, the game moves on. The next episode will bring a double, two hour merge episode.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great LF show. This week we heard from: Pete, Nicola, Jill, Ann, Skippy, Aaron, BrandonA, Sarah, Samantha, Sandi, Bonnie, Ronda, Michal, Myra, Mikeybear, Shea, Jay, Sophie, Beth, Victoria, Stephanie, Marla-n-Sarah, FD, Drew's Crew, Kenny, Tina, Joel, Krista, Jody, Rashmi, Jacqueline, Josh, Harrold, Jack, Kaylee, Pat, Jaywaffles, Courtney, Carolyn, Jeremiah, Jen, Crystal, Ed, and Paul.

This week we interviewed Jeff Varner. He left the game in week 6 of Survivor Game Changers. Jeff's legacy is that he will forever be remembered for doing something horrible and hurtful to a fellow castaway. He is now working to make amends for his gross lapse in judgement. Let's all learn from his mistake and strive to treat each other better.

Listen to this interview to hear him acknowledge and apologize for the wrong he did, recognize the significance of the responses he's received, as well as how he is dealing with it going forward.

Survivor is an amazing, complex game because its foundation is built on the human condition. It brings out the best in some folks, and the absolute worst in others. Most castaways dream of becoming a hero, but their motivations and choices, which are often made under extreme pressure, can also backfire, unravel, highlighting poor judgement and a mean spirit. What is the best way to handle it when someone crosses the line like that? What do you think this will mean for Varner's Survivor legacy?

If there is a power struggle at the merge, who do you hope ends up in control? Which threats would you focus on first: strategic or physical? Who do you think is playing the best, and in the best position going into the merge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after week 6.
New New Mana:Aubry, Brad, Cirie, Hali, Michaela, SierraT, and Troyzan
New New Nuku:Andrea, Debbie, Ozzy, Sarah, Tai, and Zeke
