Cagayan JABBIC Part 2

It's only four days till the first two episodes of Survivor Cagayan airs. It can be tough to recognize the new castaways at the beginning of the season, but we've got an answer for that to enhance your Survivor viewing experience. It's called the JABBIC, "Judge A Book By Its Cover", shows. We get started before the first episode airs and record our early thoughts on this new group of castaways as well as the returning "Favorites, Misfits, and Drama Magnets". Through this process, we identify a few of them we think will stand out from the beginning, and it greatly improves the odds of recognizing your early favorites.

This is Part 2 of our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show. Fourteen fans, like you, recorded their perspective on the new cast including their choice of favorites, who's most likely to get voted out first, make the merge, have a shot at the final tribal council as well as who has what it takes to win it all.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great JABBIC show. This week we heard from: Ronda, Samantha, Nicki, Anna, BrandonB, DrewG, Josh, Aaron, Mikeybear, BrandonA, Sillymoose, Jeremiah, James and Paul. Jonathan made good on his JSFL challenge debt! Make sure to check out his rendition of "One Man Wrecking Ball", sung from the perspective of Hayden to Tyson. BrandonA, you're up next!

JSFL registration is open! If you would like to join in the fun, click on this link: JSFL Registration and get your picks in before the first episode airs. You'll have to decide who you think will win it all, two people that will be voted out from the first tribal councils, and four castaways that will be safe from the tribal council vote. Reminder: you have to listen to the podcast to hear the Listener Reward Bonus questions.

We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com.

Cagayan JABBIC Part 1

Welcome to Part I of our "Judge a Book by its Cover" show for season 28, Survivor Cagayan. We have recorded our preliminary thoughts on each of the castaways including how well we think they will do in the overall game as well as their basic bio details to kick off another season of watching Survivor together.

Now it is your turn. We want to hear what you think about the 18 castaways that will be here to entertain and surprise us for the next 3 months. Study the pictures, bios and videos at CBS.com and let us know how well you think they will do this season. We want to hear about who you had the strongest reaction to. Who is going to win it all? Who will each tribe choose to be leaders, and who will the leader call out as the weakest? What do you think about all the planned twists and the introduction of the new TP idol? Who's going to be voted out first?

Send in your predictions, keep it to 3 minutes. Get your responses to us by noon PST on Saturday, February 22nd. Try not to think too long about it, just go with your first impression. Check out Paul's visual roster below to help you collect your thoughts.

It is time to wrap this one up but not before checking in one last time with the fans to get your perspective on the Finale, Reunion show and the season as a whole. Overall, the consensus is that most of us were pleasantly surprised with how good this one turned out. Many of us were skeptical back at the start of the season but this was definitely one of the best seasons with returning players that we have ever been treated to.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Eleven fans shared their thoughts on the finale along with some hopes for what we can expect in the next season.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Jody, Michelle, Kenny, Samantha, James, Drew, Mikeybear, Josh, Jeremiah, Sean and Paul. Thanks for taking time out of your busy holiday schedules to help wrap this one up with some great insights and hearty laughs.

Blood vs. Water Episode 13 LF

The consensus heading into the finale is that Tyson is still the hands down favorite to win, but it is certainly not a given. LauraM has a contingent of fans anxiously expecting her return from RI and possibly, inadvertently, knocking Ciera out of the running unless Monica joins them for an all women alliance. Angry Gervase seems least likely to win out of the seven that are left. The main thing is that we are all excited to see how it plays out at the finale. It has been a good season and we really want to see it go out with a bang!

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fourteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 13 and predictions for what we can expect in the finale.

Blood vs. Water Episode 12 LF

An amazing episode deserves an equally entertaining LF show and you really delivered! We were all a bit puzzled by Gervase's over the top responses and blundering self destruction. Everyone wishes Cierra had woken up last episode but we were thrilled to see her hang in there and be willing to fight to win instead of handing it to Tyson. The star of this week was ultimately Hayden. It was awesome to see all his scrambling pay off even if it was only a temporary reprieve.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Blood vs. Water Episode 9 LF

Predictions were split between Tina and Aras for who would be first to be eliminated from RI and likely become the first jury member. Most of us believe that the Ciera and Laura story line is a red herring and expect that they'll choose to dump erratic Monica next.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Blood vs. Water Episode 8 LF

There was little remorse for Aras's loss. Vytas is expected to follow shortly, and many are worried for Tina. Tyson, Hayden and even Cierra were all floated as potential winners now that the merge has occurred. We are headed for a double elimination. Make sure to choose two vote outs this week, and this is the only time you can update your USB. Listen to the wrap section for JSFL details.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Blood vs. Water Episode 7 LF

Lady Rupert was a focus of the discussion this week. It is easy to see why BrandonA would consider her for worst Survivor ever. The consensus says that LauraM will return from RI. Dan from NY reminded us that she was a fitness instructor, so this prediction has merit even if we haven't seen her do anything physical in the challenges so far. The merge should bring more brain twisting challenges as we try to guess who will be voted out next.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twelve fans shared their thoughts on episode 7 and predictions for what we'll see next.

Blood vs. Water Episode 6 LF

We all agree that the team in charge of challenges at RI was slacking for episode 6. Several of you had some great recommendations for how to improve it, but we would all just as soon not see the "count to 100" task again. Not everyone was in agreement, but most of us seemed to enjoy this episode. No one was surprised to see Kat shoot herself in the foot, and no one predicted that she would return from RI. It will be interesting to see if she manages to wreck Hayden's game too.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Blood vs. Water Episode 5 LF

Folks were split this week on Candice's exit. She definitely evokes strong, polar responses. "Lady Rupert", thanks again Tim, struck most of us as awkward, and it was tough watching her attempt to sew her seeds of discontent in Galang. We heard support for several shuffle options: Family vs. Solo, classic random, shuffle the solos. In any case, the additional twist is expected to further complicate our ability to guess who might be blindsided next. One last thing we agreed on, Katie Brundle's toes, AKA "Katie no nails" are gross.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Eleven fans shared their thoughts on episode 5 and predictions for what we'll see next.
