Philippines Episode 12

This episode continued the trend of having the person that needed to win immunity the most actually making it happen. You have to give Abi credit for trying. The odds are really against her, she appears to have no allies left in the game, but she keeps working every angle she can think of to stay in the game. The family visit often times has the potential to really rescue someone's game plan. Lisa's brother seemed to really help her understand the threat that Penner tried and failed to get her to see. What did you think about this one? What stood out for you as the funny or odd moments of this episode?

Can anyone make a case for beating Malcolm? Does Abi still have value as a final two goat now that we have already heard so much talk about how she can not win? How do you see the final four order playing out? Who's game has improved the most over the course of the season? Did you think Lisa and Skupin really would have blindsided Malcolm? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 12.
DangRayne:Skupin, Abi, Denise , Lisa, and Malcolm

Philippines Episode 10

Now that the evil trio were not calling the shots, it was time for the "good guys" to step in and take charge. Lisa finally dumped Abi, and it was certainly interesting to see how Abi managed that as well as all the information she received at tribal council about how she is perceived by others. We got to see her and Pete scramble like never before, but it was too little too late. Who do you think did the most work to improve their chances to win this week? As Penner explained to Abi, she is not going to win now, but does that fact change her value to her tribemates? .

Does it make the most sense to eliminate Abi next? Do you think Penner missed a big opportunity? What did you think of the new final four alliance? Do you think they will last till the end? Who is most likely to cause it to fall apart? Who wins in a final two scenario between Skupin and Malcolm? How about Skupin and Denise? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 10.
DangRayne:Skupin, Abi, Carter, Denise , Lisa, Malcolm, and Penner

Philippines Episode 9

Paging Dr. Penner! Move over Denise. There is a new therapist on this island. Jonathan specializes in helping 80s TV stars. Lisa's in crisis, so good thing he's here. Time for more tears and some more introspection. Good thing the returning players are here too. Between Skupin and Penner, they ended up winning the challenges and shaking up the game. We were not sure Skupin had it in him, but it was great see the tables turned on the over confident evil trio.

Who is going to last longer: Skupin or Penner? Where does Lisa stand after all this? Who would you go after first, Abi or Pete? Who do you think has the best chance to win now? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 9.

Philippines Episode 8

Penner's back was to the wall. He was betrayed by his alliance and everyone was working to make sure he was eliminated. Then, when he needed it the most, he pulled a rabbit out of his hat. But that was only the prelude to this excellent episode. We also found out that Lisa is here for more than an "experience" and is interested in actually playing the game. She's got a plan that puts her at the end against someone from the evil Tandang trio. But wait, we are not even remotely done yet. Lisa is now ready to out Malcolm's HII and it is time for some major league scrambling before the tribal council starts. Wow, that was the most interesting, complex turn of events we have seen in a long time. It is so great to see all the castaways working hard to keep or take control of the game. Did Lisa just call the play at tribal council that booted Jeff Kent?

The Tandang trio remained at the core of the control again this week deciding who actually got voted off. How long can they hold it together? Do Skupin and Penner stand a chance? The HIIs are out in the open. How do you think that will change the game. Will anyone trust Lisa if she flips on the Tandang alliance? Where do you think Denise stands in all this? Who will Carter turn to now that Jeff is gone. Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 8.

Philippines Episode 7

Tandang made Survivor history and promptly sent one of their strongest members to become the first member of the jury. Coincidentally, the merge brings an end to Denise's losing streak. Perhaps the polarity of her curse has flipped. Penner appears to have really lost his sense of the game and appears doomed to go it alone in a non stop attempt to win all the immunity challenges between now and the finale. Do you think he can stands a chance?

Will the evil Tandang trio remain in control of the game? Penner said Lisa was a potential under the radar threat to win. Do you think she really stands a chance? How did Skupin and Jeff Kent improve their long term prospects in the game by voting out RC? What did you think of the merged tribe name: Dang Rain, get it? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 7.

Philippines Episode 6

The curse of Denise continues as well as her perfect attendance at Tribal Council. Penner's negotiation skills may need some work but that was certainly an interesting resolution to the Reward challenge. Who do you think got the better end of the deal? Did Kalabaw pass on a great opportunity to blindside Penner?

With a likely merge on the horizon, who do you think stands the best chance of improving their position in the game? Will Tandang's numbers advantage allow them to destroy the remaining Kalabaw members? Or, will their infighting and the constant negativity of Abi, Pete and Artis provide an opening for a new majority alliance to form? Will Malcolm and Denise's initial outsider status offer any advantage as we move closer to final Tribal Council? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here are the tribes after episode 6.
Tandang:Skupin, Abi, Artis, Lisa, Malcolm, Pete and RC
Kalabaw:Penner, Carter, Denise and Jeff

Philippines Episode 5

Finally, the embarrassment that was Matsing is gone. It is too soon to call, but it appears that Malcolm made out far better than Denise. He now has an HII that only Denise knows about and ended up on the physically superior tribe. Kalabaw took a major hit this week, losing two castaways. Seeing Dana leave of her own accord after being sick for less than a day was surprising as was seeing Dawson leave without sharing Jeff Kent's secret.

Do you think Kalabaw will be able to recover, or are they now doomed like Matsing? Will Malcolm be able to rescue RC? What did you think of Dana's decision to leave the game? Do you think Denise will ever get to be on a tribe that will win a challenge? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
Tandang:Skupin, Abi, Artis, Lisa, Malcolm, Pete and RC
Kalabaw:Penner, Carter, Denise, Jeff and Katie

Philippines Episode 4

The decimation of Matsing continues. Now, it really gets hard because the two strongest, most likeable people are all that is left. All is not well in the other two tribes though. Abi, with some encouragement from Pete, has torn the original Tandang alliance apart. RC may have finally woken up to her plight, but it might be too late. A battle of the sexes appears to be brewing at Kalabaw. Penner built an all male alliance, but the women instantly banded together in response to that threat. Who will be first to cross the lines and break the tie there?

What's next for Denise and Malcolm? Can you see any way they can survive at this point? How will you remember Russell Swan? Which tribe do you think is stronger: Tandang or Kalabaw? Who do you think is in jeopardy of leaving due to medical reasons? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here are the tribes after episode 4.
Matsing:Denise, Malcolm
Tandang:Skupin, Abi, Artis, Lisa, Pete and RC
Kalabaw:Penner, Carter, Dana, Dawson, Jeff and Katie

Philippines Episode 3

What's that smell? Oh, it's Matsing stinking up the place again. We never expected a lot from Angie, but for Russell to do so poorly was really disappointing. Besides providing Matsing another opportunity to drop some dead weight, we once again got some great insight into the other two tribes. Penner decided to go on the offense and use the HII to build an alliance. Carter and Artis talked! Unbalanced Abi appears to have become our first villain of the season. When Abi decided to betray RC, she and Pete silently took control of Tandang. Looks like Skupin will be the first out instead of Lisa after all.

Will Matsing continue to fizzle out until the merge? Do you think Denise and Malcolm can recover? Will RC be able to recover from the coup that Abi orchestrated? Will Jeff Kent ally with Penner or use him for the first blindside of the season? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here are the tribes after episode 3.
Matsing:Russell, Denise, Malcolm
Tandang:Skupin, Abi, Artis, Lisa, Pete and RC
Kalabaw:Penner, Carter, Dana, Dawson, Jeff and Katie

Philippines Episode 2

Cookies! Angie might have just given us the best tag line of the season. You can bet we'll get to hear that again at the reunion show in December. Matsing wasn't the sole focus of the drama this week. We got some great new insight into Abi and Lisa's volitility over at Tandang. If you were RC, who would you choose to keep if you found yourself headed to Tribal Council?

Do you think Matsing can recover? Has Malcolm damaged his chances to win by cuddling with Angie? Does Denise still have a chance given she is on such a bad tribe? How did you feel when you saw Penner find the first HII? Are you sympathizing with Lisa? Who's more likely to get booted first from Tandang and Kalabaw? Who do you think will be the next to be voted out?

Here are the tribes after episode 2.
Matsing:Russell, Angie, Denise, Malcolm
Tandang:Skupin, Abi, Artis, Lisa, Pete and RC
Kalabaw:Penner, Carter, Dana, Dawson, Jeff and Katie
