One World Episode 5

Tribal shuffles are an opportunity to reset the game and really test whether a castaway can adapt and improvise. Depending on the outcome, they can spell the death of a solid alliance or protect an existing one and just supply new vote out fodder. The random draw appears to have resulted in some seriously unbalanced tribes this time out. New Salani appears to be stacked with both physical and mental advantages as well as a decent shelter and plentiful food. On top of having two members that do no work around camp, New Manono was burdened with having to start over and build a new camp. It is too soon to say for sure, but given the return of some seriously physical challenges, it seems likely that we might be in for a old school "Pagonging" of New Manono.

Who do you think is in a more powerful position now: Kim or Colton? Do you prefer to see a random reorder or a schoolyard pick-em when it comes to shuffling the tribes? Does New Manono stand a chance in future challenges? Is there anyone on that tribe you are still cheering for? What would you do if you were in Christina's position? Who do you think will leave on a medical evacuation? Could you award a million dollars to someone who could not remember your name? What if the other options to choose from were Alicia and Colton?

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
New Salani:Chelsea, Jay, Kat, Kim, Michael, Sabrina and Troy
New Manono:Alicia, Christina, Colton, Greg, Jonas and Leif

For the medical evacuation, we think it might be Greg/Tarzan. If they opt for a double elimination and still go to Tribal Council, we think Christina will finally get the boot. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

One World Episode 4

That was one for the history books! The teasers for episode 4 said it would be something we have never seen, and it certainly delivered. It started out following the standard formula: reaction after tribal, a reward challenge with a slightly surprising victory by Salani and then it got interesting. The betrayal of confidence that Leif pursued combined with the petulant whims of a man child set a series of events in motion that we will be discussing for the rest of this season and probably as long as the show continues to air. Why do you think the Manono tribe appears to be so willing to go along with Colton's directions? Is Colton's behavior egregious enough to make you stop watching altogether?

Where did this episode fall on the scale "dumbest moves in Survivor history for you? Can you see any upside to Manono's decision? What do you think will be the best strategy for handling someone as nasty and ugly as Colton? Does he have any chance to make it to the end, or is he now the perfect goat who would get no votes except for possibly Greg's? Given what we've seen so far, who stands the best chance of coming out in control if we do get a tribal shuffle? Is there anyone in particular you are cheering for to get a second chance if the balance of power shifts?

Here are the tribes after episode 4.
Salani:Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kimberly, Monica and Sabrina
Manono:Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Michael and Troy

It's anybody's guess as to how it will fall out if they shuffle the tribes, but we're both hoping for a Colton blindside courtesy of his creator, Sabrina. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

One World Episode 3

Happy Leap Day! We got another great episode to match this special calendar day. Despite their ongoing trials and tribulations, the Salani tribe finally managed to get their act together and put an end to their losing streak. They exited this episode triumphant at both challenges which forced the Manono tribe to confront their own dysfunctions, albeit somewhat less dramatically. With the exit of their first member we see a confirmation of who is actually in control of the men's tribe. Were you disappointed to see a potential, major villain leave so early in the season?

Who did you side with on the matter of sharing fire and shelter for access to the boat and fishing gear? Do you think the misfit alliance can hold together to control the destiny of Manono? When is the right time to try to flush out the HII? Do you think they made the right decision in targeting Matt?

Here are the tribes after episode 3.
Salani:Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kimberly, Monica and Sabrina
Manono:Bill, Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Michael and Troy

The women have the momentum now and we both think Colton will get his way and vote of Bill when they lose the next immunity challenge. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

One World Episode 2

That is two in a row now where the women have been their own worst enemy in the immunity challenge, and it marks an overall 3 in a row series for the men. Colton appears to be going out of his way to alienate his tribe. Unfortunately for him, the women do not want him either. Do you think having the HII has given him a false sense of security? Tonight we got our second DIY reward challenge. How do you think it went minus Probst? Jeff is continuing a trend he started back a few seasons ago where he more activley inserts himself into the action with leading commentary and by providing questions to certain castaways which appear to contain a desired answer. How do you feel about this shift in the balance of the game?

What do you think about Sabrina as the leader of the Salani tribe? Nina said they had no communication and no teamwork during the challenge. Will they really be able to follow her? Is Colton slowly losing his grip on the game, or did he actually take control of the Manono tribe this week? Why do you think the power alliance in Salani opted to keep Kat? Will Kat shape up or continue to undermine her tribe's chances? Would you give the other tribe fire if you saw them suffering? Do you think we will see another quitter this season if the conditions get bad enough?

Here are the tribes after episode 2.
Salani:Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kimberly, Monica and Sabrina
Manono:Bill, Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Matt, Michael and Troy

We both think the women will continue their losing streak. Stacy thinks Christina will be next to go. Jo Ann thinks the women might correct their mistake on day 5 and possibly get rid of Kat. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

One World Episode 1

Welcome back! That seemed like a solid first episode. Did the lack of a complete challenge affect your assessment? It would have been nice to go with the 90 minute version we got last time, but there were certainly some characters that stood out early. Two Chicken Chelsea was impressive. Jay's ability to make make fire with the bamboo saw was also noteworthy. Sabrina surprised us by finding the first HII, and Country Club Colton may have just silently taken control of his tribe by way of Sabrina's gift.

Did the guys hurt their long term chances by not sharing fire or completing the challenge? Did Chelsea hurt her future by renegging on the deal to share the chickens? Would you have opted to complete the challenge when you were already free from tribal council? Is Colton guaranteed to make the merge now? Is Matt living on borrowed time. Do you think the women stand a chance at being able to work together? Who suprised you the most? Did your impressions of anyone change after you got to see them in action in this first episode?

Here are the tribes after episode 1.
Salani:Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kimberly, Monica, Nina and Sabrina
Manono:Bill, Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Matt, Michael and Troy

Stacy thinks the women are not going to gel anytime soon and that Christina will be next go. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

South Pacific Finale

We had a blast at the finale! It was great to get to spend some extra time with the Survivors and catch up with the Super Fans. It was certainly a jam packed finale too. Were you happy with how this season ended? Where does Sophie stand in relation to other previous winners? How would you rate this jury? Did they reward great gameplay or was it another round of "bitter Bettys"? Do you believe that this is the last time we will see Ozzy and Coach? Who from this season would you most like to see play again? Where does Brandon's move to give up Immunity rank on the "dumbest move in history" scale? Make sure to check out our interviews for some extra insights and let us know what you think. Last but not least, where does the season rank for you in your best to worst scale?

Congratulations to Griffin from Vancouver, winner of Survivor South Pacific JSFL!

Griffin, like Sophie, played a relatively quiet game during the season and then rushed in at the end to claim victory! He picked Sophie to win before the season started and nailed the final 5 order perfectly.

Join us to wrap up the season with the final Listener Feedback show. Your final thoughts are due by 5pm PDT on Thursday, December 22. Make it count by sharing your unique perspectives on the finale and reunion shows as well as your thoughts on the upcoming season 24. Also, let us know where this season ranks for you.

South Pacific Episode 14

We all knew the Upolu five would have to turn on each other, but did anyone think it would be this good? Silly us, we thought invisible cowboy Rick was the obvious choice to go next. Once again, wild card Brandon rears his confused and or divinely inspired head and gives us all a surprise. How would you compare this one to Eric Reichenback's infamous move in Fans vs. Favorites? Did Coach do right by Brandon? Do you think Ozzy will score a clean sweep and send Brandon off to the Ponderosa? Who are your picks for the final three?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 14.
Te Tuna:Albert, Coach, Rick and Sophie
Redemption Beach: Ozzy vs. Brandon

We both are cheering for Ozzy to win his way into the final 3 and take it all. Who is your pick for sole Survivor?

The deadline for the last Feedback show of the season is noon PST on Thursday, December 22nd. We look forward to hearing your throughs about the finale and the season as a whole. South Pacific Episode 13

Time for the family visit episode! What do you think Ozzy's motivation was for choosing Albert, Coach and Brandon, and was there any signifigance to that order?Do you think Brandon's dad succeeded in getting him to refocus on winning the game? Looking back at Cochran's overall performance, do you think he earned the honor of being referred to by only his last name as he requested in the first episode? The time has arrived for the final five Upolu to have to turn on each other. How do you think it will play out from here? What's your final order? Ozzy continues to hang on and managed to squeek out another victory. Who wins at Redemption Beach? How would you feel if Edna managed to upset Ozzy and win her way back into the game? Do you think she would stand a chance to make it to final 3?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 13.
Te Tuna:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Rick and Sophie
Redemption Beach: Ozzy vs. Edna

We both think that Silent Rick will be the next arrival at Redemption Beach. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

South Pacific Episode 12

There is still a chance for an original Savaii member to make it back into the game, but Upolu succeeded in eliminating them all from the Te Tuna camp for now. How do you think the god powered family will turn on each other now they have no obvious enemies left to target? Does poor little worker bee Edna stand a chance against the black and white vote out order that the Upolu five established at the beginning of the game? How do you score Cochran's gameplay? Do you think given everything you know now that he made one of the most "idiotic moves in Survivor history"? Who wins at Redemption Beach? Is there any skill John possesses that would give him an advantage over Ozzy?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 12.
Te Tuna:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, Rick, and Sophie
Redemption Beach: Ozzy vs. Cochran

We are playing it safe and thinking that "the family" will stick to their plan and send Edna to Redemption Beach. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

South Pacific Episode 10

Double eliminations: They are a great response to a long drawn out Pagonging with the potential to allow for surprise power shifts too. Is Redemption Beach the ideal environment for challenge monster/survival skills expert Ozzy? Who do you think is the most dangerous person still in the game? If Ozzy manages to dispatch Dawn and Whitney and win his way to final 3, he is likely sitting on 4 jury votes with Cochran as a possible fifth for the win. Does anyone on Upolu have a lock on that many votes? Are you buying what Coach is selling? Is it all equal when it comes to decisions for the Upolu family? Did Sophie and Albert just miss their best chance to take control of their own destinies in the game? Does Cochran stand any chance of finishing above seventh? Who wins at Redemption Beach?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 10.
Te Tuna:Cochran, Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, Rick, and Sophie
Redemption Beach: Ozzy vs. Dawn vs. Whitney

We think John has reached his usefulness to Upolu and will be voted out in seventh place just as Albert described. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?
