Blood vs. Water Episode 12 LF

An amazing episode deserves an equally entertaining LF show and you really delivered! We were all a bit puzzled by Gervase's over the top responses and blundering self destruction. Everyone wishes Cierra had woken up last episode but we were thrilled to see her hang in there and be willing to fight to win instead of handing it to Tyson. The star of this week was ultimately Hayden. It was awesome to see all his scrambling pay off even if it was only a temporary reprieve.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fourteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 12 and predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: BrandonA, Andy, Ronda, BrandonB, Jeremiah, Mikko, DrewG, Nicki, Sean, Johnny, Jen, Josh, Paul and Jody.

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 12 of Survivor Blood vs. Water

Blood vs. Water Episode 12

What a doozy of an episode! We witnessed Survivor history as this was only the second time that we have seen the castaways end up drawing rocks. In addition, this marked the third week in a row that Ciera's choices have been a core theme of the episode. First it was the choice to vote off her mom, next it was the choice to dissolve the final five alliance, and now to abandon the final four alliance. Gervase put an end to Monica's winning streak at the Immunity challenges, but he might have also put an end to his chances to win over the jury. Hayden did a great job of getting in Gervase's head and with a little help from Probst prompted several significant, emotional outbursts that could poison the jury pool. Hayden managed to stay safe this week through an impressive display of manipulation of Ciera, Gervase and Tyson.

Why would Tyson be willing to pull rocks? Will Monica flip? Is it possible for Gervase to recover and still make a case for why he should win? Who do you think is the most likely to make it to final three now? Who is most likely to return from RI? Who is your choice for next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 12.
Kasama: Ciera, Gervase, Hayden, Monica, and Tyson.
Redemption Island:Katie, LauraM, and Tina

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 11 of Survivor Blood vs. Water

This week we interviewed Vytas Baskauskas. He left the game in episode 11 of Survivor Blood vs. Water. He came into the game overshadowed by his little brother's legacy, but quickly made a name for himself and proved he was here to play. His smooth social game helped him survive against the odds after the shuffle, but he was quickly singled out after the merge and finally finished off when "the moms" ganged up on him at RI.

Listen to this interview to hear what he will be looking for in a winner, an assessment of who is playing hard versus floating, his reflection on that last RI challenge and lots more!

Blood vs. Water Episode 11 LF

Responses on this season remain positive, and most are thrilled that it has been so consistent and surprising. Very few of us predicted this week's blindside. Support for Hayden and LauraM grew. The shine on Tyson dulled a bit, and most thought Ciera over played her hand. We are just two weeks from the finale and it is still possibly anyone's game. It looks like we can expect a strong finish, and for that we are all thankful!

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fifteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 11 and predictions for what we'll see next.

Blood vs. Water Episode 11

They told us Ciera's hardest choice happened last week when she voted her mother out, but this seemed equal if not more significant this week when she opted to fracture the final five alliance. It was great to see significant play from Hayden, Ciera and Tyson. Meanwhile, the imminent threat Katie faced appears to have completely dissipated. She is not on anyone's radar now. Monica continued her reign at the Immunity challenge, and Laura once again demonstrated why she is such a significant threat at RI. These two moms will be a force to be reckoned with going forward.

Is it ever a good choice to give in to temptation and eat instead of compete at the Immunity challenge? Who do you think Tyson and Gervase would be more likely to take as a final 3 at this point: Monica or Ciera? How significant will Laura's choice to help Tina be at RI? Who is your choice for next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 11.
Kasama: Ciera, Gervase, Hayden, Katie, Monica, and Tyson.
Redemption Island:LauraM, Tina, and Caleb

Blood vs. Water Episode 10 LF

Responses to Ciera's "bold" move to vote off her mother were split. Some thought it was a great demonstration of her loyalty to her alliance, while others saw it as a demonstration of how untrustworthy she might be if she can be that cutthroat. Several folks defended the overall game play of Ciera, Monica, and Hayden. In a moment that seemed like someone had declared opposite day, several fans stepped forward to say "Stacy was right", about a few points in the recap for this last episode. Well, except about the snakecakes!

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 10 of Survivor Blood vs. Water

This week we interviewed Aras Baukauskas. He left the game in episode 10 of Survivor Blood vs. Water. His "blood" connection and struggles with his brother Vytas plus the "water" connection with his friend Gervase that eventually undid him represented the epitome of the themes that shaped this season.

Listen to this interview to hear details on why he lost that last challenge, the original, banned name of the merge tribe, how he will decide to cast his vote for the winner and lots more!

Blood vs. Water Episode 10

We had a hard time believing that Ciera was the mastermind with her veteran player and mother taking direction from her, regardless of how proud Laura was. Ciera certainly had her brightest moment of the season though when she tricked Katie into acknowledging that she did not actually find the HII. Katie appears to have missed out on a great opportunity to drive a wedge in the controlling alliance when she did not share the fact that the HII appeared to have already been found. Monica was impressive in the challenge, but may have only furthered her case as a goat when she passed on the reward with a bit too much fake sincerity instead of actually endearing herself to her alliance as she intended.

Does it make sense for everyone in the alliance to hold strong and vote out Katie next? What is Katie's best option to stay in the game? What other options could Monica have considered for who to share the reward with? Do the original Tadhana four have a chance to take control of the alliance and flip the script on Tyson? Who now has the best chance to return from RI, and how will that end up affecting the game?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 10.
Kasama: Caleb, Ciera, Gervase, Hayden, Katie, Monica, and Tyson.

Blood vs. Water Episode 9 LF

Predictions were split between Tina and Aras for who would be first to be eliminated from RI and likely become the first jury member. Most of us believe that the Ciera and Laura story line is a red herring and expect that they'll choose to dump erratic Monica next.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twelve fans shared their thoughts on episode 9 and predictions for what we'll see next.
