This week we interviewed Marty Piombo. He left the game in episode
9 of Survivor Nicaragua. Marty took control of Espada only to have
it yanked away by a twist in the game. After the shuffle, Marty
lost his majority vote and endured a long drawn out battle to
survive each week. He will be remembered in Survivor history for
two events: his courage to hold on to the HII in the face of
imminent danger one week and his willingness to give it and any
semblance of control of his future away the next.
