Not surprisingly, opinions split on Rob's choice to send Matt to battle Francesca. Some saw it as evidence of a master at work and others viewed it as a poorly thought out emotional over reaction. The other focus of attention was the fate of Andrea, Ralph and Russell. They all appear to potentially be facing a dilemma in the next episode, and you sure came up with some interesting scenarios to consider. Lastly, both Francesca and Matt had fans predicting their success at the duel, so that one should be exciting too.
For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, which will start again with episode 3, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Thirty three fans shared their thoughts on episode 2 and predictions for what we'll see next.

It's only episode 2 and the Robfather has already delivered a wicked Boston blindside! He wasn't the only one making big moves though. Rooster Ralph managed to one up him with two big scores. Looks like Russell is going to have to work his way through Ralph before he can get a shot at Rob.
Has Phillip found his niche in Ometepe by pledging allegiance to Rob? How do you think Andrea will exact her revenge? Is Rob in any danger of losing control of his tribe? Why do you think Russell and Stephanie are so confident that they will be able to pull off a blindside? Who will you be rooting for in the first Redemption Island duel?
Here are the tribes after episode 2. Ometepe:Andrea, Ashley, Grant, Kristina, Natalie, Phillip and Rob Zapatera:David, Julie, Krista, Mike, Russell, Ralph, Sarita, Stephanie and Steve Redemption Island Duel: Francesca vs. Matthew
We both think Russell will be the next to take dark walk to Redemption Island. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

The first episode of Survivor Redemption Island has aired, and it's time to see what you thought about it. Opinions varied on Kristina, Stephanie, Matt, Mike as well as Rob and Russell, but on the whole, most of us thought this was one of the best first episodes of any season. A lot of "Fran Fans" responded to register their support, and a whole gaggle of you decided to see how many ways you could misspell her name to match Phillip's odd pronunciations. You really surprised us with the volume of response for the first episode. The fear, uncertainty and doubt has lifted. We've got high hopes for this one.
For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, which will start again with episode 3, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Forty Four fans shared their thoughts on episode 1 and predictions for what we'll see next.

Welcome back! The first episode completely exceeded our expectations and came packed with surprises. We have already witnessed our first "no clue needed" discovery of an HII, an unexpected upset in a puzzle challenge, a complete castaway meltdown and our first Tribal Council blindside. That's a pretty impressive combo for episode 1.
Can you see any way for Kristina to redeem herself? Will she "pull a Marty" and end up giving Rob the HII? Will Francisqua be able to battle her way back from Redemption Island? Who surprised you the most? How would you rate Rob and Russell's game so far?

We got the opportunity to interview Russ Landau on Friday, December 17th, just before the Survivor Nicaragua finale. Russ opened up his studio to us to answer questions about how he got started, his work flow and the process they follow for creating new music for a weekly TV show, and let us sit in on a jam session prior to his performance at the finale. There is even an appearance by a special guest. After listening to and enjoying his music for more than a decade, it was quite a thrill to get to meet him and sit down and talk about his craft. We hope you enjoy the result.

We really enjoy getting to talk to the Survivor contestants, and we have learned that some great insights can also be gained by talking with their family members too. When Holly introduced us to her husband, Charlie, we could tell right away that he was quite a character in his own right. That, plus the fact that he came out to meet her for the family visit, suggested that he might be able to offer a deeper perspective on what it means to take part in the Survivor adventure. For the full "Charlie Experience", we recommend watching the video on a big screen, but we have also included an audio only version for our podcast subscribers. We hope you enjoy this special feature interview.
