Redemption Island 2 might have been a better title than Fans vs. Favorites. Of course, that is only now apparent in hindsight, and it would have been a bit of a spoiler for the fans if they had used that title. As it turned out, Cochran's redemption story was key to this whole bizarre string of events that composed season 26. He certainly earned the win. We covered the finale in Studio City, CA, had the pleasure to meet the cast and spend time with fellow super fans. We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. JSFL Update: We're still working on the details for the scoring. We expect to announce the winner(s) during the final LF show on Wednesday.

Can any action be viewed as selfless at this stage in the game? The "Loved Ones" episodes are always full of overflowing emotion and fraught with this type of quandary. Some have actively avoided winning just so they do not have to make the tough choices. Brenda faced a tough choice: Do I risk making my competitors stronger by giving the reward away to the larger group or focus on the ones that are closest to me? She may have figured that Dawn was strong enough to handle the repercussions, but it might have been the excuse that Dawn was looking for to turn on her. How significant do you think Cochran's role was in turning the tide against Brenda? Will Brenda's hurt feelings come back to haunt them? Here is the tribe after episode 13. Remember to get your JSFL picks in early. The deadline is 4:30 PST on Sunday, May 12th. The deadline for the last Feedback show of the season is Wednesday, May 15th, at 5pm PST. We got a double elimination episode where one fan and one fav left the game. That seems fair. The fracturing of the majority alliance has finally started. They did great to hold it to together this long, especially if they made loyalty a center piece of the plan. Looks like Cochran, the challenge monster, met his match in the form of three hot dogs and a soda. We already knew that knots were a form of kryptonite for him too. As the self professed, last "independent thinker" left in the game, do you think he might be next to go? I hate to say it, but I think we're missing a challenge with tile breaking. Where's the pecking order challenge that will help everyone see where they stand? Will we get some of that from the family visit where the winner has to pick someone to join them? Here is the tribe after episode 12. We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Listener Feedback is due by Sunday at noon PST.

Cheering for the underdogs is fun, but the phrase "against all odds" often goes hand in hand with it. The odds finally ran out for the three amigos this week. Thirty days is a great run, especially when you spent all that time on the outside of almost all the alliances. We were hoping for more surprises this week to keep the excitement amped up, but were happy to see the auction and a classic Survivor endurance challenge that's balanced for everyone, unless you are smart and savvy enough to buy an advantage at the auction. Congrats to the ginger Kobayashi on his second Immunity win! Here is the tribe after episode 11. We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. Wow, wow, wow! They actually did it. They said it would be a historic moment and Malcolm made it happen. Ok, maybe this season will redeem itself after all. This one had a little bit of everything. Everyone had a role to play in Episode 10. Dawn cried, brayed, lost her teeth, and cried some more. Brenda was a hero and retrieved the teeth. Cochran turned on Dawn and declared himself a challenge monster. Sherri made sure no one would consider her a threat in the challenges. Andrea declared her over confidence. Eddie stayed positive, and it payed off. Reynold dominated the challenges, again. Malcolm found yet another OPII, played two, and made a dream come true. Erik may have stolen the show when he switched alliances. Here is the new, merged tribe after episode 10. We've got several ways you can reach us. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-1547. You can record an audio comment and attach it or just type up a quick text message and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. Listener Feedback is due by Saturday at 6PM PST.

Let the blindsides begin! The feud between Corrine and Phillip has been settled. Lucky for secret agent underpants that Dawn is so sentimental about the anniversary of her undoing back in Survivor South Pacific courtesy of Cochran. If she had not already been so anxious and maudlin, she might have welcomed Corrine's plan and saw it as a way to move up the chain above Andrea. At least she took some action this time. Looks like Dawn has grown from her previous experience. You don't have to be a Cochran fan to be happy for his win tonight. That was a truly impressive display of eating prowess. It takes a lot of energy to maintain a delusion. This week, it looked like Phillip's fantasy world had really started to take a toll on him. It was a great testament to his strength that he lasted to day 17, but had he been forced to stay in separate tribes for much longer, it might have been the end of his game. Of course, that kind of weakness could become a strength at the merge when it does not pay to stand out as a physical threat. For all the time wasted on Phillip's charades, it was great to see underdog Malcolm make some progress on increasing his chances to make it to the end. What do you think about the possibility of that fantastic four making it to the end together? Here are the tribes after episode 7. We've got several ways you can reach us. OK, it is high time to rescue this season. With Lazy and Crazy gone, we can get back to some classic Survivor goodness. It started with a random shuffling of the tribes. We tend to favor the schoolyard pick'em option because it also reveals a pecking order, but neither that nor random egg cracking can guarantee balanced tribes. These new tribes are about as far from balanced as you can get. It's not clear that the New Bikal tribe stands any chance of winning a physical or endurance challenge. It appears that we were not done removing the toxic castaways from season 26. Last week the fans cleaned house. This week it was the Favs turn. The casting process failed us again this season and delivered another contestant that actually wanted to quit. Brandon was on a long downward spiral and to hear him describe it, it sounded like his violent outburst was planned for quite a while. What healthy, well adjusted adult does that? They may have gone through the motions of voting, but Brandon quit well before that happened. We hope he gets the help he needs, and that we never have to see him again on our favorite TV show. Episode four brought our first double elimination. The toxic tribemate problem in the fans tribe fixed itself, but at what cost? The fans are deep in the hole now. The favs would have to lose the next three Immunity challenges for them to go into the merge with even numbers. The future was looking very bleak for Reynold and Eddie, but now it appears that their fortunes have turned. Can the fans muster the focus to come back against a Favs tribe that appears to be firing on all cylinders in the challenges? Here are the tribes after episode 4.
