When the pressure is on, Tony consistently delivers. We all wondered how he would manage the fallout from his big flip against LJ, and he wasted no time doing damage control, setting up surveillance and developing counter measures. Speaking of flip flopping, Jefra did herself no favors this episode as she see-sawed back and forth between alliances. The rest of the castaways stayed the course with their alliances. Tony's use of the TPI at TC was quite a display. He bluffed Spencer who ended up wasting his HII, and convinced everyone that he didn't really have the most powerful idol in the game. It doesn't get much better than that. The majority alliance is up by three and could afford to lose a member? Do you think a crack will form to give Spencer and Tasha hope?

Who do you think will win the showdown between Spencer and Tony? Do you think Tony's guaranteed to be in the finale now that he has the TPI? Who do you think will play the auction strategically versus out of hunger? Who is your odds on favorite to win at this point and who has no chance? Who do you think will be the next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 9.
Solarrion:Jefra, Kass, Spencer, Tasha, Tony, Trish and Woo

Forget Chaos Kass. She has nothing on Tony the Tiger. He eats chaos for breakfast and it tastes great! Tony is the kind of player you hope for if you end up in a minority alliance. He is trying to play so hard and so fast that he can convince himself to give up a sure thing and trade it for a lesser role just to accomplish his near term goals. It is only day twenty five. He must be counting on people having ten days left to cool off. Meanwhile, the brain tribe members are still in the game, and we may be looking at a shift in power as a new majority alliance of five takes control. How will Trish, Kass and Jefra handle the flip?

Has Tony overplayed his hand? Will it be possible for him to win, or has he now become an unlikeable goat? Did Woo improve his chances or just become the bottom of a five person alliance? Who will Tony target next? Who do you think will be the next to go?

Here is the merged tribe after episode 8.

The TP Idol has yet to make an appearance, but the good, old fashioned HII provided more than enough excitement for this episode. Wonder Woo went ninja on Spencer, but that wasn't enough to keep Spencer down. He pulled two rabbits out of his hat this week and ensured he would be around for at least two more episodes. Kass may not want to call it flip flopping, but you can bet everyone that gets burned will see it that way. A sense of entitlement rarely serves you well on Survivor. Blatant acknowledgement of it combined with a complete disregard for the perceptions of others suggests you might have never had a clue how to play this game to begin with.

Was Woo in the right in stealing the clue? How long do you think the majority alliance can hold it together? Would Kass gain anything in flipping back to Spencer's shrinking alliance? Who do you think will be next to go?

This was yet another episode jammed packed with surprises. The game now moves into the second phase as the tribes merge and we switch to individual immunity. It was interesting to watch the majority alliance disintegrate because Kass and Sarah couldn't get along. Kass may not make logical choices, but she sure keeps us guessing. Tony could not win back Sarah, so it fell once again to Trish to take control of the game and give the minority alliance a chance to survive.

Were you surprised at how Tony and LJ played their HIIs? How do you think the new TP idol will affect the game? Will it be a golden ticket to the finale or another lost opportunity? Will Kass be able to win, if the new majority alliance goes on a winning streak? Who is most likely to hold a grudge against her on the jury? Will the new alliance of 6 be able to hold it together long enough to get rid of Spencer, Tasha, Jeremiah, and Morgan? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here is the new, merged tribe after episode 6.

After all the positives we've experienced this season, it was sad to have it marred by a quitter. We saw hints of this inherent weakness in Lindsey back during the storms, so it was not a surprise to see her fold like a piece of paper once the odds were not in her favor. In spite of this set back, there were still plenty of exciting developments in this episode. Tony was a roller coaster of activity, first being creative and succeeding in casting a shadow over Jeremiah but then over sharing with his alliance and finally by over celebrating a victory from a minority alliance position. The brains alliance is flush with their new sense of power, but they don't really appear to be cementing a solid, lasting majority alliance either. Alexis went into desperation mode. Jeremiah fumbled his way through another tribal council, and Morgan got some sweet revenge. The merge is coming, and there appears to be several castaways that will be left to act as free agents.

Which group of five offers the best chance for Sarah? Will Tony end up sharing his HII? What is the best overall play for Morgan, Jeremiah, Sarah and Woo? Do you think there might be the possibility we will see an entirely new majority alliance form? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 5.
New Aparri:Jeremiah, Kass, Morgan, Sarah, Spencer and Tasha
New Solana:Jefra, LJ, Tony, Trish and Woo

We got tribal shuffles, new beginnings, exciting challenges, and blindsides. This episode had it all. Just when the castaways start to think they have it figured out, Survivor scrambles the tribes and forces everyone to rethink their alliances and standings in the game. No one would have been surprised to see the Brain tribe continue to get decimated, but now they will likely all make the merge and some might even make it to day 39. The Beauty tribe suffered the biggest split and three of them promptly turned on each other. The majority of the Brawn tribe lost a challenge that appeared to be tailor made for them to excel at then followed in Beauty's footsteps by splitting up their alliance too. We are really enjoying this season!

Who emerged from the tribe shuffle in the best and worst positions? What do you think will become of Sarah? How did LJ decide not to play his HII? Is Lindsey really in danger of quitting? Do you think New Solana will be able to recover? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 4.
New Aparri:Alexis, Jeremiah, Kass, Morgan, Sarah, Spencer and Tasha
New Solana:Jefra, Lindsey, LJ, Tony, Trish and Woo

At last, the one person from the "Brains" tribe that should have been first to go, finally got the boot. The funniest part was that it was apparently a difficult decision for the remaining tribemates to make. After being sent to the very bottom of her tribe, Morgan still remains as a lethal adversary. Jeremiah is truly no match for her. The controlling alliance in the Brawn tribe fell into the classic pattern of an ultra successful tribe and decided they could manage throwing a challenge to ensure future control. Fortunately for them, the "Brains" tribe is so staggeringly incompetent at physical challenges that they were worse than Brawn even when they were trying to lose.

Who would you have kept: J'Tia or Spencer? Can you think of a worse tribe than this Brains tribe? What did you think of Sarah's choice to throw the challenge? Will it come back to haunt her? Who does the tribal shuffle stand to help the most? Can Sarah escape from Tony's deception? Will Cliff or Lindsey suspect they attempted to throw the challenge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 3.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan

We got another solid episode that included new insights into all three tribes. Amazingly, the Brains managed to do something right this week. There may be hope for them if they don't manage to starve themselves out first. There's a battle brewing between Tony and Sarah, and it's shaping up to be a big one. As it stands, it looks like Tony has the upper hand. LJ appears to be fairing well, but he experienced some ups and downs this week too. He gained traction by finding that HII, and then promptly let his team down in the challenge.

Who has surprised you the most this season? What did you think of Lindsey's quitter talk? What's your prognosis for the Brains tribe? How much will losing Brice hurt the Beauties? Will Sarah actually throw a challenge? Who do you think she is targeting? Did Jeremiah make the best choice? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 2.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:J'Tia, Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan

Who saw that coming? Out of all the castaways, the nuclear engineer was certainly not our first pick for most likely to fail at all aspects of the game. Several of the new castaways including Morgan, Tony, Brice, Kass, and Spencer surprised us in a good way though. LJ and Sarah delivered as expected. Uncle Cliffy's celebrity does not seem to be working against him at this point. Garrett may have completely eliminated anyone in the Brains tribe's chances to get an HII, until after the merge. Yes, this episode was chock full of interesting surprises. Looks like we are off to a good start!

How did your assessments of the new castaways change once you saw them in action? Were there any big revelations or realizations that you had misjudged someone? How much will being called "weak" affect Trish and Morgan? How much will being the "leader" affect Sarah and LJ? Is there any hope for J'Tia? Do you think the Brains tribe can recover? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 1 and 2.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:J'Tia, Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Brice, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan

Our apologies for the delay, but we're back now! We enjoyed the Finale and most of the Reunion show. The Finale included several solid challenges, and it was really nice to see a jury reward great gameplay. We think Tyson's win was all the more impressive given the level of competition he faced combined with the fact that he played masterfully all the way through. The biggest editing surprise was learning about the huge gap in Monica's social game. We were happy to see everyone back on stage for the Reunion show, and only Marissa missed out on getting to speak, which was a huge improvement over previous seasons. All in all, it was a solid end to a great season!

JSFL Update: Congratulations to Steve W., winner of this season's JSFL!
Note:BrandonA and Jonathan is Awesome, please check the podcast for details on the challenge debt you now owe.
