Hi Gang, Did you have a nice holiday break? We sure did! :) It rained all through the holidays here, so we stayed cuddled up at home most of the time. We had a great time reading books, watching movies, and catching up on one of our favorite topics: Survivor. We watched Survivor Thailand for the 2nd time, and Australian Survivor (the one with an all Australian cast). We really enjoyed the Australian Survivor season. It was different and also quite intense at times. Thanks again for the tip on that one Shelley! We also finally had time to rent and watch Deadwood, the HBO drama. It is kind of like Survivor in the old west during the late 1800s, except they don't vote anyone off. They just kill them and feed them to the pigs! We had hoped to have the JVC, JASS Video Clip, for Rafe out sooner, but it proved a little difficult to assemble, missing and corrupted video/audio sources being the main challenge. In any case, we finally got enough source material together and edited into a Rafe Retrospective. Let us know what you think. We've got another treat planned for you this week too, so stay subscribed. :) We want to hear from you,and we've got several ways you can join in and participate. You can call and leave a voicemail at 206-350-JASS(5277). You can record an audio comment and send it to us via email at joannandstacyshow@gmail.com. With either of those options, we can include your audio directly into the special Listener Feedback shows. You can also send us your input in an email, and we'll read it into the show when we record. Lastly, there's a link for comments on the web page here. You can click that link and post your thoughts out there for everyone to see. Hey Gang, Remember when I said I'd have a video test file for you to check out over the weekend? Well, I spent a ridiculous amount of time converting, cutting, clipping, editing, and experimenting with different formats and finally have something for you to look at. This file should work in the Quicktime player as well as on a video iPod. If someone who has a video iPod can test it and let me know that would be great. I'm hoping that going the Quicktime route is acceptable given that so many listeners are using iTunes to download the podcasts. Please check it out and let me know if you have any problems
playing it. Otherwise, I'll assume this format is acceptable for any
future videos we compile. |
