Both Bill and Enzo sent us their picks for this week along with some observations on how the show is shaping up. Bill's pick last week was particularly astute in that he accurately predicted the fall of the mighty Stephenie. Enzo's feedback said to watch for Greg to be voted off soon. He also highlighted what appeared to be an overt, extreme manipulation by Jeff Probst of Janu last week in Tribal Council. Several of the TV journalists agreed with Enzo and were quite vocal in calling foul on Probst.

It's getting down to the wire. There will only be three more shows before this season is done. What do you think we should focus on when Survivor's over? Here's our picks for next week. Jo Ann thinks that Caryn will be next and follow the order that Tom called out this week with her as number six. I think we'll finally see a puzzle challenge for immunity next week which means Tom will not win it. Since it's all Koror now, Greg and Jen will finally be able to execute their plan to start eliminating the stronger players.

Woohoo! We got more listener feedback. :)
Bill sent us an email asking for more complete coverage. He caught us making a format change which shortened the show and left out an item he really wanted to discuss. I think we have a plan to fix that now Bill, and thanks for sending in that request.

We got our first voicemail from Laughing Pygmy, the host of the Pygmy Island website. Check our show on Episode 4 for some more background on his site. He included his predictions for the final two which was really cool. Sounds like he's a big fan of Stephenie too.

We really enjoy the listener feedback. Hey, is there anyone out there that would be interested in doing an interview like the one we did with Survivor Fan Sandy? We got a device from Radio Shack that will let us make a digital recording of the call. We'll pay for the call and include it as a special segment on the show. Here's our picks for next week. We're going to avoid the obvious choice of Stephenie. Jo Ann thinks that a female alliance will emerge as the power center and Tom will be next to go. I agree that those ladies are pretty sharp and very likely to recognize the strength in numbers they have. My prediction differs only slightly. I'm going with a hunch and guessing that it will be Ian. What do you think?

Welcome Back,

It's time for a rundown of episode 9 of Survivor Palau. But first, we want to say a big "Thank You" to listener E. He sent us a note to chastise us, for being so harsh with our assessment of Ulong's mental capabilities. As E pointed out in his input, it's very likely that Bobby John can read given that he has a journalism degree. Jo Ann thinks he's cute, end of story. I still think he might have had someone doing his homework for him, but getting the feedback and sharing in the discussion of the show is what really makes podcasting special. Here we are at episode 8 of Survivor Palau and the only thing we can say about Ulong tribe is that they're really very consistent. They can't seem to win in any combination. Ulong, Ulose, Uout.... :)

Here's a recommendation for another Survivor resource. Previous Survivor contestants, Rob Cesternino and Jenna Lewis, have an audio show called Survivor Talk hosted at TheFishBowl.com, a website dedicated to reality TV shows. It's similar to Survivor Live, but it contains mature content and has a very raw edge to it. They have an interactive element to the show. People can participate via a chat room for instant feedback. If you're a hardcore Survivor fan, you'll probably enjoy their show.
