The time has arrived to take one last look back at Survivor One World. We all agree that Kim was a deserving winner. Opinions vary on where she, the rest of the cast and the season as a whole compares with past seasons, but most everyone acknowledges that she pulled off an impressive, dominating win by any standards. We will be on break until September when season 25, Survivor Philippines, makes its debut. Until then have a great break.

Kat's first "wake up call" came on day 5 at the tribal council in episode 2. The Salani tribe was deciding between voting out Kat or Nina. When asked if they would choose the same day one alliance members if they could do it again, Kim, Chelsea and Sabrina all said no. Kat's second wake up call came in the reward challenge in episode 11 when she got the most votes for a castaway, wait for it, most in need of a "wake up call". The last call came in this episode when she was blindsided while laughing at how funny blindsides are. Kat's antics did provide lots of fuel for your quips and jokes this week, and for that we are thankful. You guys also managed to find a scenario where everyone left in the game, even Christina, could end up winning, and we didn't think that was possible. Nice work!

The likes of Christina and Tarzan stump most all of us. They don't seem to have a role to play in the game. As much as we wish for a misfits alliance, there seems little chance of it ever happening with this crew. Many lamented the elimination of Troyzan, and others found it predictable given that he couldn't curb his emotions enough to build an alliance to take on queen Kim. It's not clear yet if her stumble this week will have any repercussions, but many of us hold out hope for a new challenger to arise, if only to add some drama to a such a dominant performance.

Lots of us want to cheer for the underdog as he does battle against the all powerful women's alliance, but his in your face celebrations and unwillingness to acknowledge the error of his ways makes it difficult to keep cheering for Team Troy. Many believe Christina and Alicia sealed their fate when they turned down Troy's ploy to take control, but a few hold out hope that they are working an as yet invisible alliance that would help explain their lack of initiative. His role on Survivor was largely insignificant, but we wish Leif luck on his quest to make it on to The Amazing Race.

Sounds like Team SFP had a blast at the Reality Rally and raised a nice chunk of change for a great cause too. Congratulations and a gigantic thanks to Christy, Mark, Mike and Bob for representing the awesome community here at SFP!

It's official. The only person surprised that Michael was voted out, was Michael. It's seems clear that Kim is playing at a different level than everyone else in the game. Praise for her gameplay in this episode was abundant, but some are skeptical that she can maintain it all the way to the end. The consensus from the feedback is that Jay will be voted out next, but the strategy lovers are holding out hope that we will see Troy and Kim battle it out with their Hidden Immunity idols this week.

Episode 6 brought an end to a particularly dark story arc from this season, and also the transition to a new beginning with the onset of the merge. Regardless of how he exited the game, a lot of folks expressed how glad they were to to see Colton go. In keeping with the diversity of views here though, some were sad to see him leave and wondered at how it might have played out if he stayed. As for the future, there were several theories offered as to who will betray previous allegiances to form the new controlling faction as we head into the second, distinct phase of the game.

To say that events in episode 4 touched a nerve is putting it lightly. Unfortunately, one of the castaways this season harbors a very dark and ugly side that was brought into the open this week for all to see. It prompted a range of responses from immediate and strong revulsion to Colton, to abject bewilderment at the actions of the Manono tribe and even some possible scenarios to put the aberrant behavior in perspective. Fans from around the world, from a broad range age groups and different walks of life came together this week to put one of the most bizarre episodes in the history of Survivor into perspective.
For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game.
