Cagayan Episode 3 LF

There was a definite split in the feedback this week. Some thought they should have kept J'Tia and the other group was ecstatic to see her go. Morgan's ability to think on her feet continues to impress, but many doubt that she can leverage that to get her to the end. Sarah's attempt to throw the challenge made her look much like Tony from the perspective of playing too hard before it was required. We are all hoping that the tribal shuffle gives us two balanced tribes that will have to face off and fight hard for every victory as we close in on the merge. This reset should be really interesting as we watch close to see who adapts the quickest.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Fifteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 3 and predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Ronda, Nick, BostonMark, Aaron, Nicki, Michelle, Sandi, Mikko, Drew, BrandonB, Tim, James, BrandonA, Josh and Paul

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 3 of Survivor Cagayan

This week we interviewed J'Tia Taylor. She left the game in episode 3 of Survivor Cagayan. J'Tia represents the worst nightmare of every fan who has ever hoped and dreamed about becoming a castaway on their favorite show. To find out, in front of friends, family and millions of fellow fans, that you have absolutely no aptitude for the game would be devastating. At least her dysfunctional tribe finally put her out of her misery.

Listen to this interview to hear more details on the rice sabotage event, how their food options surprisingly improved afterwards, her assessment of her tribemates and lots more!

Cagayan Episode 3

At last, the one person from the "Brains" tribe that should have been first to go, finally got the boot. The funniest part was that it was apparently a difficult decision for the remaining tribemates to make. After being sent to the very bottom of her tribe, Morgan still remains as a lethal adversary. Jeremiah is truly no match for her. The controlling alliance in the Brawn tribe fell into the classic pattern of an ultra successful tribe and decided they could manage throwing a challenge to ensure future control. Fortunately for them, the "Brains" tribe is so staggeringly incompetent at physical challenges that they were worse than Brawn even when they were trying to lose.

Who would you have kept: J'Tia or Spencer? Can you think of a worse tribe than this Brains tribe? What did you think of Sarah's choice to throw the challenge? Will it come back to haunt her? Who does the tribal shuffle stand to help the most? Can Sarah escape from Tony's deception? Will Cliff or Lindsey suspect they attempted to throw the challenge? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 3.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan

Cagayan Episode 2 LF

Survivor Cagayan is holding strong through the first couple of episodes. As several you commented, it is great to see how the show can deliver great entertainment with a strong, all new cast and without depending on the returning player crutch or over the top gimmicks. Most of you think Tony is playing too hard and too fast and expect Sarah to send him packing. An alternate prediction suggests that she may be running straight into an ambush though. In either case, we might be in for quite a spectacle as the showdown between the two cops draws closer.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Sixteen fans shared their thoughts on episode 2 and predictions for what we'll see next, and EMP created a special outro for us this week. Make sure to check out his special Survivor Cagayan ballad, Shack of Love.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Samantha, Brenda, Rashmi, Ronda, Mario, Anjanette, Nicki, Aaron, Mikeybear, Drew, Brian, BrandonA, Josh, Jeremiah, James and Paul

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 2 of Survivor Cagayan

This week we interviewed Brice Johnston. He left the game in episode 2 of Survivor Cagayan. Brice had potential to be our comic relief for the season, but he was never able to establish himself with the controlling alliance. We will miss his 'the talk about town' segments at Tribal Council.

Listen to this interview to hear how Brice was chosen for the show, who he thinks was responsible for losing the immunity challenge, his assessment of his tribemates and lots more!

Cagayan Episode 2

We got another solid episode that included new insights into all three tribes. Amazingly, the Brains managed to do something right this week. There may be hope for them if they don't manage to starve themselves out first. There's a battle brewing between Tony and Sarah, and it's shaping up to be a big one. As it stands, it looks like Tony has the upper hand. LJ appears to be fairing well, but he experienced some ups and downs this week too. He gained traction by finding that HII, and then promptly let his team down in the challenge.

Who has surprised you the most this season? What did you think of Lindsey's quitter talk? What's your prognosis for the Brains tribe? How much will losing Brice hurt the Beauties? Will Sarah actually throw a challenge? Who do you think she is targeting? Did Jeremiah make the best choice? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episode 2.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:J'Tia, Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan

Cagayan Episode 1 LF

It was unanimous. We all really liked that first episode(s), but the reasons surprised many of us, which in turn resulted in even more, overall enjoyment. Now it is time to see how you did with your JABBIC predictions and weigh in on what you think of the cast now that we finally got to see them in action. Sarah and LJ remained the majority favorites. The NoBrains tribe, as Ronda aptly tagged them, has been nominated for worst tribe in Survivor history. Their chances to win this dubious honor are looking very good so far.

For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Seventeen fans shared their thoughts on episode 1 and predictions for what we'll see next.

We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Sandi, Mikko, Mario, Samantha, Tim, Nick, Ronda, Nicki, Brian, Drew-n-Charlie, BrandonB, Carolyn, Jeremiah, James, Jody, Josh and Paul

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 1 Part 2 of Survivor Cagayan

This week we interviewed Garrett Adelstein. He left the game in episode 1, part 2 of Survivor Cagayan. Garrett got a rocky start but turned that to his favor by quickly finding the first HII. Unfortunately, the grudge he held against David and his unconventional playing style left him with few alliance options and miraculously turned his tribe against him when there was an obvious, strategically better first choice.

Listen to this interview to hear his thoughts on which tribe he would have preferred to be on, where he left that HII, his assessment of his tribemates and lots more!

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 1 of Survivor Cagayan

This week we interviewed David Samson. He left the game in episode 1 of Survivor Cagayan. David stacked the deck against himself within the first moments of the game. He wore a coat which resulted in being nominated leader, made a choice that resulted in a grudge, and announced to everyone that he was already planning the end stage of the game. He had a lot of potential, but those three strikes sealed his fate.

Listen to this interview to hear David's thoughts about being on the Brains tribe, how he explained choosing Garrett to his tribe, his assessment of his tribemates and lots more!

Cagayan Episode 1

Who saw that coming? Out of all the castaways, the nuclear engineer was certainly not our first pick for most likely to fail at all aspects of the game. Several of the new castaways including Morgan, Tony, Brice, Kass, and Spencer surprised us in a good way though. LJ and Sarah delivered as expected. Uncle Cliffy's celebrity does not seem to be working against him at this point. Garrett may have completely eliminated anyone in the Brains tribe's chances to get an HII, until after the merge. Yes, this episode was chock full of interesting surprises. Looks like we are off to a good start!

How did your assessments of the new castaways change once you saw them in action? Were there any big revelations or realizations that you had misjudged someone? How much will being called "weak" affect Trish and Morgan? How much will being the "leader" affect Sarah and LJ? Is there any hope for J'Tia? Do you think the Brains tribe can recover? Who do you think will be next to go?

Here are the tribes after episodes 1 and 2.
Aparri/Brawn:Cliff, Lindsey, Sarah, Tony, Trish and Woo
Luzon/Brains:J'Tia, Kass, Spencer and Tasha
Solana/Beauty:Alexis, Brice, Jefra, Jeremiah, LJ and Morgan
